@@garyunwin6537 Technically, in Norse Mythology, Valhalla is a place where fallen warriors go when they die to fight with Odin. Gundam Build Fighters is commonly called "Gundam Valhalla" due to the fact that there is a ton of cameos from multiple people across the Gundam Universe. Majority of them are dead in their series. This led fans (Such as myself) to believe that when the characters died in their respective series, they would come into the GBF universe in order to live full lives in peace. And Gunpla Battle. It was also confirmed by the director of the series.
I've literally had dreams where I found a shop like this. I found the first shop that sold these when I was a kid in the mid-90's in San Fran, and thought that it was amazing, but this is INSANE. Thanks so much for making this video!
+LoneSoul06 the initial reason they took the RX-78-2 away was to attempt to make it walk by 2020. They had a competition for engineers to try and figure it out, but I haven't seen anything about it since.

Metal Gear can't fly that by itself is a major disadvantages. more so the rex don't have beam weapon and rely almost entirely by it's stolen railgun. so yeah... damn liquid.
All of the metal gears are just not MOBILE(pun kinda intended) enough to keep up with even a zaku, sure they could kill one just can't catch it. Against Gundams from wing or 00 or later, a metal gear is a JOKE
I swear here in the states I've never seen even the barest fraction of those kits in person. Stores here that sell Gunpla are few and far between and they tend to only stock a few dozen boxes so I'm at the mercy of what the owners decide or are able to order. I'd love to visit Japan and the Gundam Base sometime but I'd be afraid of walking out in massive debt.

Just need to watch all the ones you know you'll be interested and like, you got this..." *After finishing most of the UC time line* (Haven't watched F91, Victory, or G no Reconguista yet) "Okay after UC timeline just gonna watch two series of Alternate Universe Timelines, and I'm done, or else my mind is gonna explode with how much I wanna watch" "Heard Gunpla is fun. and I really would like to get a bunch of models of some suits I like, let's get into it-" *100+ Gunpla tutorials, builds, reviews, etc. later* I can say with 100% confidence, that I have blown multiple blood vessels in my head simultaneously. Came into this franchise expecting to watch some like 9 season classic anime, and build like 2 gunpla sets, now I'm going to watch 75% of all it's series, and god knows how many gunpla kits I wanna order...
in my case I was introduced to gunpla about 4 years ago, at the time I mentioned to a freind, while waiting for a match of MWO to load that I was making Star Trek kits and he mentioned mentioned having purchased some PG gundam, a few weeks later I had done some research and got a few MG and RG kits, I am a relitively experianced model maker but for a first time I recomend HG or MG, I love making the RG kits but they have tiny parts and a 500+ parts count, so far about 50 kits made (mostly RG and MG but 2 each HG and PG) and about another 200 I want to purchace and assemble (although I fully expect that number to go up). and so far I have "only" watched 8 Gundam shows right through. I probably average about a model kit every 2 weeks but that is mostly split between Star Trek, Star Wars and Gundam with a few other random kits thrown in.
I was just there on my most recent trip to Japan. I hadn't built a GunPla since I was a kid almost two decades ago, but I picked up my first RG from there and now I'm obsessed.
Knowing Japan was the first country to design a successful bipedal robot, I won’t be surprised if they made a robot Gundam that can actually move by itself with no support.
and then a couple years after that the Japanese army is restored with the help o the USA and they have a complete working Gundam for milltary use ...god just imagine china or Russia in the middle of attacking some places then they see a mother fucking working Gundam plowing through a building like it's nothing

Just went to Odaiba my self last week and the 1/1 Scale Unicorn blew my head literally that they have to put it back together before I can start to breath again. Thank god there are no missing pieces. Oh and it is already been completed, I even manage to see its transformation into Destroy mode which cause my head to blew up again.
I probably can't thank you enough for doing this video. I always wanted to go to Japan and I really love Gundam related stuff. Thank you very, very much!!!

I went to Japan in a group and only have 1 day free. So I went to Disney Sea. But I saw a glimpse of the 1:1 RX-78-2 on the way from the airport. I will definitely go there next time.

+dekaconvoy I spent 11 days in Japan the first time I took a trip to Japan. Disneyland was the only thing I did on the trip that felt like I wasted a day. However Disney Sea is the bomb. Time it to make sure Japanese kids are at school, and you can literally ride the rides a couple of times each!
I'm just a sad boy dreaming to go to japan for this place... got a work and work hard for it just to realize that I can never go there unless I quit my job entirely... :(
I feel ya on that one. I was working 60 hours a week and saving up like crazy but then COVID happened!!! I would've gone this past March but that's when the whole 'panic buying' phase was still happening.
I would love to see a gundam building like that in the USA but for the gundam go American use the Heavyarms custom endless Waltz it would be stunning and with moving parts would be wicked as the day is long
Very cool video, thanks for all of the detail of what's available in the shop. Amazed that so many of the older kits are still available. Could do without the artsy "twist-the-camera" thing when you were showing the 1 to 1 Unicorn (made it hard to observe the details) but otherwise good stuff!

Gunpla Builders was in fact not the Seed for Build Fighters. the real Seed for Build Fighters was the 1982 manga Plamo-Kyoshiro which featured kids building Gundam model kits and battling them. you might also be familiar with some Gundams from that series Perfect Gundam and Amazing Red Warrior. gundam.wikia.com/wiki/Plamo-Kyoshiro

+CV I'm glad you like it, they're actually way more fun for me to do as well. I did record a Q/A video just after the RG Unicorn review, but I went and formatted the SD card it was on like a fool. I've lost count of the amount of stuff I've deleted/lost at this point... As for another, I want to, but my camera is a piece of crap, it's a DSLR from just slightly before Canon decided to make a dedicated video mode on their cameras. It doesn't auto focus in videos and craps out all the time while recording :/
I know some people dislike the Unicorn Gundam, but it's the thing and design that got me into Gundam and Gunpla in the first place! I'm really happy to have it built in 1/1 scale.
One thing I learned about Gunpla and general scale modeling, don't force a paint project. its something you have to want to do. If str8 builds are good for you, than so be it.

The Build Fighters event should have changed by then to something else, and the statue should be perfectly fictional by then too. If the old statue is anything to go by, they'll probably have a light/movement/transformation show every hour after sundown.
....I really want to go but I don't have the cash..the mech fan in me is crying right now..and it was such a good week too, I found a guy in my town that actually knows SOMETHING about Gunpla...and he does weathering and battle damage to his models too. Great conversation with the guy..where I live sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who knows what the heck Gunpla are..I even said "Gunpla" and he KNEW what I meant...I thought only my friends who've known me for awhile were the only ones in this whole town who knew that.

Metal Gear Ray could probably hold it's own against some GMs or maybe even the RX-78-2 Gundam

From what I've heard you can use the plastic in the bucket to make your own gunpla piece at the Gunpla producing machine.
