I truly think this is a first time that I’ve seen a video pointing out exactly how us as hunters need to be diligent about our actions! You guys are awesome and we appreciate all the knowledge that you’re bringing to the community! Good luck this season
Guys…this is a masterpiece!!! Hilarious BUT true!!! Good wisdom delivered with great entertainment!!! Y’all have to find a way to do more funny vids. Even if you have to make up topics. Thanks again guys! 😂😂 P.S. good to see you’re Around still Nick. You are part of THP I vote you stay for good!!
Man y’all have a very wise and mature outlook on the sport of deer hunting beyond your years. I love the content and appreciate the endless knowledge- it’s hard to believe there are other “hunters” on YT that think what you do is bad for the culture. Keep it up!
You guys nailed it I think I encountered all those people in my 5 trips on public land so I stopped hunting public land I salute yall for putting your lives on the line to bring us the best public land hunts on the tube
Well done! Watched for years, never commented but this is the one that tripped my trigger! Y’all hit the nail on the head with this one! Thanks for what you do!
The prime time one got me😂 my buddy and I had that experience opening weekend of Wisconsin. Guy came in 10 minutes before light scared a deer past us. We flashed our lights at him and he continued to walk right past us then cut in front of us at 20yrds and went off to our left. He came out same way after knowing we were there after 3 hrs. Good luck this fall!
This was pure gold, and a great way to at least make learning public land etiquette palatable. Especially for new hunters on public land, who may plainly just not know any better.
If someone is cool about it, I 100% go out of my way to clear out of anywhere around them. The minute anyone says “I’ve been hunting here for years”, “Me and buddies got this whole side/Ridge locked up” etc. I walk right in where I want.
I love the last tip with communication. This spring I was turkey hunting public in wisconsin, guy from Kansas came up and we talked about where we were going. He was persistent on going to a spot I wanted to go so I let him have it.
I had a guy this past year that told me that he had been hunting a spot for 20 years, said that he don't care if im down range if a deer steps out he will shoot... game warden loved that video.
The bloopers were great. Ran into every one of these situations on public land. And then some. Glad we own our own now. Still have strange encounters with neighbors and trespassers. Stay safe out there.
Multiply times ten for NJ. When I started having an issue. EVERY TIME I tried to hunt, even mid week mornings, and I have only bought a NJ license once in the past 8 years
Team THP, love the off-hunt videos that just keep coming! Don't be a jerk, frontal shots, bow setups, arrows vs brush, broadhead selection....this is stuff we all deal with and think about or run into. Keep it coming! "I took a dump right back dere" lmao.
This should be in every hunters ed course! Amazing video. I had the misfortune of encountering a group of "prime-timers" the last day of PA rifle season and they even took a leak in the area after they saw me and ran through several times in 15 min intervals. I was sitting there since 3:30 AM in the cold and they came rolling in loud and proud at noon. Nearly lost my cool but I just packed it in and left. They left tons of beer cans through the woods too. They just trashed the place. Thankfully I found a warden in the parking lot and gave him the bag of cans and him go after them after a short pleasant conversation with another hunter and him. That warden (a fellow hunter) was PISSED. Moral of the story, don't trash the woods, don't hunt drunk, and respect other hunters!
Great video guys, love to see you do one on Turkey hunting as well. This spring while hunting with a freind and his son on their last day in Wyoming, a truck from Iowa Hunters pulled into the same gate we were parked at on public land (blocking us in), walked in on my freind and his son as well as me in two different locations and pulled out their box calls and scared both the Toms they were working and the Tom I was working into the next county. That would have been that young man's first Merriam. Instead he went home that day with a strong opinion of hunters from Iowa that wasn't fair to the rest of the state, but one those jerks earned.
Good one guys y’all are right on being a friendly hunter and moving on to a new location. But we all know hunting public land you will have people like that thinks its just for them to hunt the land. I’ve had a guy tell me years back he was the only one hunted that block of wood and it was for him to hunt no one else. It got a little out of control talking to him. I just told him it’s all public land for everyone to in joy hunting.
More people need to see this. I call the hunters rushing in to get in before you leachers because I have had a few instances of hunters glassing my group out and deliberately arriving earlier and taking that spot we were hunting in. Even though it was allowed it’s disrespectful and can be dangerous if you are trying to hunt a certain area other hunters are in. Like these guys said be respectful and find your own spot. Have fun hunting this fall and best of luck!
Unfortunately it’s not only in hunting it’s part of every day life. There is no consideration, common sense or etiquette. Instead of banning together there are too many that criticize, mock or judge. As long as it’s legal, ethical and safe then just be happy for others success. Happy hunting!🦌
I appreciate what you guys do. I enjoy your videos. It’s the way public land should be hunted and providing proper respect for the resource we all enjoy. If your ever in NC reach out I’d love to meet you guys!
Had 4 duck hunters crashing through and open field laughing and hollering at about 9 AM during the rut. One of them looked at me and then at his friends and said he ain’t gonna see a deer. Arrowed a 170 non typical that came running from where they disappeared at about 20 minutes later! Lol
At 50 years old I have learned some pots will allways produce at certain times of the season. I am out there more for the experience than the harvest. Yes I want a 10 point every year but that doesn't happen on public. Now getting away from others will produce some nice deer but it takes some grit. Getting up and being in the tree before light when its cold rainy and windy is getting tougher at my age so still hunting in crappy weather is my new strategy
I leave a stand up all season and pull it down at the end. I leave it for when im to lazy to use my saddle and its a good wind, but i leave a note on the tree saying theyre free to use it or set up nearby. If i aint in it before dark, i wont be that day lol
I have noticed a lot more stands left on Missouri public land. Even got told by them one time that they knew the guy so they let him put his stand up before the date you are allowed to. A lot of the private land that sits next to public also has them leaving stands all year.
Excellent. It must be a thing in Mass to leave stands up for multiple years. Many times I've been scouting in a local state forest and felt I found a perfect spot only to see someone else has a setup in the area. I always move on. I have to admit that I have taken up the practice myself. Might be time to re-think what I'm doing, Besides, I love hunting new stands every year. Thanks fellas.
This is way overdue! Continue to call out this type of bad unsafe behavior. You have the attention of a lot of young and new hunters, thanks for showing them how to do it right. My only suggestion is to do one of these for turkey season.
Spot on no matter if it's public private or other.here in Pennsylvania we have all of the above plus private opened up to public thru hunter access programs.safety is #1 priority.
Great video. Worst experience I had was a man wearing the tan carhart pants and jacket walking through the woods. It was during a season where there was bull tags and cow tags. I was so dumbfounded. I could not say a word when he walked out. There are other groups that had tags and they would just shoot an elk and decide who had the tag for it after it was down.
You guys are the best thanks for showing how stupid people can look when their doing these things . I've always been happy for what ever someone has tagged . Its got to lately i had people try to make up excuses why they shot a buck that wasn't older and it shouldn't be that way if your happy and it made you feel good to take it the hell with every body else . I have a barn full spikes and 4 points and up and the only reason i have deer mounts on the wall bc that was the first thing that walked out that day. We eat deer in our family not measure them and we fill friends and family freezers up every year . The feeling that i get from seeing people so happy to have meat is way better than the monster buck that don't even taste as good . Been a fan for a long time keep it up guys Thanks
I was hunting turkey and had a Tom fired up about 60 yards from my dad and I. In a field that was about 600yards by 200yards, you could see every inch of it because it was on a hill side and it was used as pasture for cows. We seen two guys crawling towards the bird from the far end of the field, they made it about 200 yards before the bird ran off.
In WA some areas of public land have the same laws as the County when it comes to private “items” on public land. So I’ve gotten a few free tree stands and game cameras, because after you report it and it’s there 24 hours later anyone can take it as their own property with no legal issues whatsoever.
Some people's feelings got hurt in the viewing of this video and I'm here for it. Michigan public land hunter here and I've experienced all of these scenarios. Great job!
Lots of lead has been shot over my head hunting Michigan's finest state land... It's almost a way of passage for a hunter, if you can hang in their you are true Michigan hunter lol.
Been there,2nd shifter, just followed your trail, 1st time here, I'm lost. About seen and heard it all in the last 42 years but I still hunt state land in Michigan. Good luck to all !
Here's one people love to do...spot watch. They drive around all morning looking at places where people are then decide to move in on a spot around lunch time when alot of people head back to the truck for a bite
BOYS,, THAT'S SOME FUNNY SHIT,,, REMINDS ME OF THE GOOD OL DAYS. Member one time hunting with all my cousins,, one says "git down,, git down,, we all started break dancing, gotta have fun!!
Still hunting strategy... when the weather turns shitty and its hard to get up in tree because of conditions I have found that still hunting will produce... figure out the prevailing wind direction and patterns and plan on a 2 to 3 hour stalk using the noise created by the wind and moving slower than molasses into the wind or crosswinds along transitions... I prefer still hunting near water like 20 to 30 yards from the banks. Now im talking in shitty conditions this is a great way to get right on top of them and you may get cold and wet but the moving that slow trying not to snap a twig, crunch a leaf, snag your close makes all those little stabilizing muscles fire and it will keep the blood moving. Now it may take a couple hours to get in there but when everyone else is back at camp sleeping and you come back tagged filled you will understand why you did it.
16 years old and my first year hunting public land. First hunt, I dropped a nice doe. Got her in the truck and headed back to the check station. I didn't realize I was the only one to shoot that day. When I got back everyone was waiting at the check station to see what I got. Most guys were coming up shaking my hand, patting me on the back, congratulating me. One old man came up and looked in the bed of my truck and immediately started bashing me saying this is why no one is killing big bucks because everyone is killing does every chance they get. My first day on public land and it really ate me up.
Nick is such a great addition to the team
I agree
It honestly woulda been weird if they didn’t keep him.
Why?
Please do more of this. This is the content we didn't know we needed.
You guys are really the only hunting channel and hunting show that aren’t jerks that I’ve seen and I respect you guys a lot for that
Class act !
Do it yourself hunter is a good channel
I truly think this is a first time that I’ve seen a video pointing out exactly how us as hunters need to be diligent about our actions! You guys are awesome and we appreciate all the knowledge that you’re bringing to the community! Good luck this season
My comment to the shamers is. "Itd be ashame if you saw this bicm dead on the road one day, might as well be me!!"
Man I hope you guys stay around for ever, it is so fun watching you guys intertwine with each other, nothing but laughter, gods medicine
Guys…this is a masterpiece!!! Hilarious BUT true!!! Good wisdom delivered with great entertainment!!! Y’all have to find a way to do more funny vids. Even if you have to make up topics. Thanks again guys! 😂😂
P.S. good to see you’re Around still Nick. You are part of THP I vote you stay for good!!
Man y’all have a very wise and mature outlook on the sport of deer hunting beyond your years. I love the content and appreciate the endless knowledge- it’s hard to believe there are other “hunters” on YT that think what you do is bad for the culture. Keep it up!
So glad to see Nick stickin around!!!!
This is really helpful because I'm 10 and going on my first public land hunt next weekend
I laughed so hard that I ended up with a pain something serious. 😂😂😂
Must been them chummy changas
It’s hell gettin old ain’t it? 😅

You guys nailed it I think I encountered all those people in my 5 trips on public land so I stopped hunting public land I salute yall for putting your lives on the line to bring us the best public land hunts on the tube
Loved this one fellas!! Blooper reel was great, watching Nick try to rude was hilarious
We need a part 2 with rut daniels 😂
Rut daniels is a douche though ..
Yes!!! Hahaha 🤣
Good lord that'd be funny
This is spot on. Thank you guys for pointing it out.
Great education for public land hunters. Thanks guys
The last club I was in , we had all these people. Awesome video! Keep them coming!
Well done! Watched for years, never commented but this is the one that tripped my trigger! Y’all hit the nail on the head with this one! Thanks for what you do!

I told a guy that but he set up 70 yards in front of me. Told me this is public so I said if seer come out I'd duck if I was you.
I love this video guys. I think this video should be shown at all hunter safety courses! Keep up the great work!
Nick is a great addition to THP.He's funny as hell
The bloopers were great. Ran into every one of these situations on public land. And then some. Glad we own our own now. Still have strange encounters with neighbors and trespassers. Stay safe out there.
I give you guys a lot of credit for staying cool and calm in those situations. I would really struggle with not engaging someone behaving this way.
Being older I have encountered similar people on public that were not funny at the time. You all made me LMAO . TY
Multiply times ten for NJ. When I started having an issue. EVERY TIME I tried to hunt, even mid week mornings, and I have only bought a NJ license once in the past 8 years
"I killed about 800 inches of antler out here the last few years". Lmfao I heard something very simular to that before.
Why is that hard to believe?
This has been a long time coming and with HUMOR. So true what can happen on public lands. Keep up the great work fellas!
I am very glad your team released this video, education is key!!!! Thank you. Good luck this year boys!! Looking forward to watching!!
Team THP, love the off-hunt videos that just keep coming! Don't be a jerk, frontal shots, bow setups, arrows vs brush, broadhead selection....this is stuff we all deal with and think about or run into. Keep it coming! "I took a dump right back dere" lmao.
The Sitka shamer was spot on

I can see the THP acting careers taking off after this video. SOLID GOLD!
Speaking of ACDC, "Shoot to Thrill" comes to mind for me when at the range and/or hunting!😊
That was great😂 definitely can relate to almost all of those y’all held it together better than I could’ve😅 Nick was about to kill me!!
Unfortunately it’s not only in hunting it’s part of every day life. There is no consideration, common sense or etiquette. Instead of banning together there are too many that criticize, mock or judge. As long as it’s legal, ethical and safe then just be happy for others success. Happy hunting!🦌
Alottt of accurate descriptions in this video!! We have a lot of respect for yall fellas. Keep up the great content!
This reminds me of TK and Mike's videos years ago - yall rock!!
I appreciate what you guys do. I enjoy your videos. It’s the way public land should be hunted and providing proper respect for the resource we all enjoy. If your ever in NC reach out I’d love to meet you guys!
This one was good y’all boys are naturals 😂😂zeke you are unrecognizable with your hair covered 😂
The “prime timers” had me dying! So true but still funny 😂
This is gold 😂 all of the south FL Public land hunters need to see this!! They make you not want to hunt public land!! 🤦🏻♀️

@@jonah-n8lLook at the short I just uploaded. Or just be a hater. Idc

Wish I could comment on this

Funny stuff. Prime timers are the number 1 thing I tend to run into on public land, mind blowing
This video was professionally done. The timings are great and on point. Great video. 👍🏼 very educational. Thank you.
I love the bed music for the bloopers. I wish we could get an album of nothing but THP bed music
I leave a stand up all season and pull it down at the end. I leave it for when im to lazy to use my saddle and its a good wind, but i leave a note on the tree saying theyre free to use it or set up nearby. If i aint in it before dark, i wont be that day lol
Warb in the sitka being a snob was perfect.
Guys…😂 this was hilarious and so true , great job and you have to keep nick around he’s the new favorite lol 😂
funny you have this topic. some friends are having this same exact issue on a central florida public wma
I have noticed a lot more stands left on Missouri public land. Even got told by them one time that they knew the guy so they let him put his stand up before the date you are allowed to. A lot of the private land that sits next to public also has them leaving stands all year.
Gotta love the old "I've been huntin here my whole life" and the "there ain't no deer here son" heard both sadly

ran in to a few of these in the egypt valley wild life area the amish during gun season are the worst
No truer words spoken, nor actions taken. This is why I love hunting my own properties..lol 😂😅 Awesome job ❤
These are all spot on, fellas! Especially #2 as it aligns with our mission and ethos to end deer/buck shaming! #nobuckshame Great video
Warbs voice sounds like Greg's in the second "shamers" bit where he sort of slowed his delivery and deepened his tone a little lol
Best part is the “jerks”wearing Sitka twice. 😂
I hope this was as much fun filming as it was watching😂
This is hilarious. I’ve experienced many crazy things on public. Also have met some really cool people!
You guys are killing it. Love the off-season videos. Keep it up!
Thank y'all for taking the time to make this video, spot on but definitely entertaining and hilarious 😂
You guys are the best thanks for showing how stupid people can look when their doing these things . I've always been happy for what ever someone has tagged . Bruh!!! At the 4:10 mark when Arron and Zach laugh I lost it. Good stuff my friends.

some very good info in this video, ive run into every senario youve described, and at the end of the day being courteious and safe always wins.

Great Job Guys! This was educational and fun.Reminds me of those classic funny hunting videos from Jim Varney and Jeff Foxworthy
The cut is the funniest cause u know what the bloopers are!
Why did u have to put the Sitka and bass pro camo on for the trophy hunters 😂
The Shamers skit is absolutely perfect!
😂😂😂😂 what you're looking for is bigger then this! Dang yall need to do more stuff like this and ALWAYS add the bloopers at the end! Man I love yall!
It never ceases to amaze me the immaturity of some Hunters if you can call them Hunters this is a very good educational video guys don't be a jerk
I love it😂 that guy that was shooting in your direction so often must have been an Amish guy
Man this is the best video. Everybody needs to share it.
Here's one people love to do...spot watch. They drive around all morning looking at places where people are then decide to move in on a spot around lunch time when alot of people head back to the truck for a bite
I'm so glad yall kept Nick!
BOYS,, THAT'S SOME FUNNY SHIT,,, REMINDS ME OF THE GOOD OL DAYS. Member one time hunting with all my cousins,, one says "git down,, git down,, we all started break dancing, gotta have fun!!

This has got to be one of the best videos y'all have ever made! Seriously, let's all be kind to one another. Thanks!
“I got a pain something serious, got any toilet paper I can take with me up there? No?”😂😂😂😂
Nick kills me. “Go on, GIT.. 😂
the guy in orange running after the deer had me in stitches!!! very true video tho, loved it guys. spot hogs are all too real where i hunt

That was Awesome , Look forward to another great season watching you guys .
The last clip 😂😂😂😂 “what you’re lookin for is bigger n this…”
This is gold. Especially the bloopers
It's the Sitka camo on that second one that's killing me. LMFAO!!!!
