I know I'm late to the party, but this foundation is clean beauty and even though EWG doesn't have it, they do have something else by Rituel de Filler and it is a 1 on their site. Simply put, this is good for you makeup. To some, that's important.

Even though it's oil-based, it does not feel greasy - based on my experience walking Gracie and working up a bit of a sweat - it's comparable to "normal" foundations (ie, most foundations hold up pretty well on me). Thanks for watching!

I much prefer the RdF over the WA! This one looks pretty on the skin and has better coverage! I show application on the last two days in this video - so take a look. For mixing - I do equal for each color and blend on the back of my hand.
Hi Kiki I received my 3 drop foundation. I pretty close to your shade twin. Based on your colors 120 too light 130 too yellow I ordered 135 light medium neutral which is not neutral but yellow and dark. Would you recommend 120 and add bronzer?

Hmmm....favorites are so hard. But I can tell you I've worn this every day since getting it - and that's a lot of love. I also love the CdP Radiant Cream (I have to mix two colors) the MUFE Reboot and Givenchy Prisme Libre - both of those has slightly less coverage.
Saks (not sure if they have the foundation yet) and RdF has their own website as well! I'm not sure, but I'd think Detox Market might be a place to check as well

Aww, thanks, Mel. The necklace was a find, handmade by a local artist a few years ago. If I figure out who is was, I'll look for a website for her - but I bought it maybe 5 years ago...so, it's a longshot!
The TF - but it's full coverage and no always appropriate and when it is - it really have to have the same undertone of the foundation. With the Givenchy, I feel I have more flexibility - though not as much coverage.
I can’t make this work for me at all, and I want it to so badly. It just breaks up and dots in my pores like nobody’s business, and I don’t have oily skin. Help! lol

Beautiful on you! I bought the 120 just now and hope it’s not too light. What was the ratio you mixed? I love Chanel foundations in BR21 and BR22. I tried the Westman Atelier drops foundation and not impressed. Yes, I too have kissed a lot of frogs! Thank you for a great review.
I mixed 1/2 & 1/2. The 130 seemed a bit darker, but the yellow was pronounced. I think I 120 looked great, but if I was sleeveless, you'd see it was a tad too light for me. I love this so much more than the WA. I use that one time to time for a no make-up look and would probably wear it more often if she expanded her shade range (3 is far too warm irl, okay on camera). I hope you love it as much as I do!

Hi, I’ve just discovered your channel and find it so helpful since I’m dealing with maturing skin. I’ve tested the latest Laura Mercier foundation which felt oily going on but dried down nicely. Would you say this is at all similar?
Hi Em! No, not similar in all. This is actually oil based and feels like it. It does dry down after a bit - but with the sunscreens I used with it - it was never matte. The most matte sunscreen I paired it with would be the Ole Henriksen and the sheen was very skin-like with that one.
@@TheHoodedLid I’ll add that I was comparing the Laura Mercier to the Lisa Eldridge and that’s why LM didn’t feel matte. It seemed so much more forgiving.

This is more like a foundation - with solid coverage over those two - rather than a hint of tint. I also like this texture more and the colors are better than WA.
I came online to find this review. I used the lab sample and gave quite a lot of feedback. I liked it but the texture was gritty, which drove me crazy. It looks like they fixed that. Now I just need to figure out the new shades!
That's so interesting! Nothing gritty about this version. The photos does seem to be great for selecting a shade - they look like they were shot in low-light. The model for 130 looks much darker than me...hopefully the swatches I did will help people.

I really appreciate this positive feedback! I didn't have room to list my ake-up during the intro & outro - but the eyes were the sisley paris shadows I used for the Nicole Kidman look from a few weeks ago. I used all three colors again, but tried to make the look a little more day appropriate!
I did try that from Kosas - but I remember there was very little coverage. This is more like a true foundation (coverage) in an oil base. It's not smeary at all like the Ilia was for me.

ahhh...that's a one of a kind I got at a little shop on Robertson in Los Angeles. It was a consignment shop that also had some hand made necklaces .

I've been adding the Armani bronzer drops to 120. I think in the winter 120 will be perfect. I also mix the two shades often. Bronzer is also helpful.
