You sure? I doubt this is a winner. It's way "too different" to get the mass appeal. Portugal 2019, Iceland 2019... songs like that have their audience but I don't see them as winners. Juries probably won't all like it enough to make Bambie a winner unless they prepare something AMAZING for the live in Malmo
This is so unique i feel it may win the competition its so good Delighted to see Ireland took a risk this year welcome back to the competition IRELANDE
You said exactly what this song appealed to me. Yes, it's mostly dark, but it's not all the way and I love the contrast and love the mix of different genres but retaining a main theme.
The genre is ouija pop which they have coined themselves. As an irish person im very proud that we have voted them to represent us. As they have said also, Ireland has deep roots with witchcraft so its not an insane idea.
I've watched (lots) of reaction videos to our entry - I recall only one person saying that they did not like it. That's not a bad result. If this gets to the final - which I hope it does - watch out for the Public Vote! Thanks for the positive comments!
The song still is divisive but most critiques i've seen come from Ireland. It's sad when the artist doesn't have a support from their country but hey, Ireland can't vote for it anyways. Best of luck because semi 1 is a hot mess 😅
You and the nails 😂 I'm shocked but very happy both the national jury and televote were behind this (no comment on the international jury 🤡). This is also reminding me of Iceland going from 2018 to 19. I'm glad Ireland is a little scared of Luxembourg's return and Sweden's 7th win.
It just looks dangerous because I know I would poke out my eyes with such nails... anyways, about the Irish song, It gives Hatari vibes but in a much more profound way. I don't see it winning or being top 5 because juries won't like it (just my assumption) and we will have a lot of "weird or unconventional" this year which means a safer option might do better or even win in the end.
I absolutely love it, top 5 in the final🎉
I doubt it will finish that high but I can see it finishing in my top 10 before the show. I expect it to be even better for the esc performance
It's frightfully beautiful.
Sublime is the word, I love sublime art!
Its extremely clever and with the times, looks like Ireland finally have their 8th win of Eurovision 💚🍀

@@esc_victor08they will. I feel this going to be elevated a huge amount by May. Plus sound will be so much better
12 points from Australia!

I agree that it is truly unique and such a nice change from Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
A straight 12 from Zürich! 🪩

Thank you for your thoughts my friend. I'm glad we agree and both see it as something cool, innovative and appealing.

As an Irish man I’ll say cop on and get real. Do you know how dangerous that is and not something to celebrate.
@@keenaeas an Irish woman I say there are more important things to worry about than a theatrical performance in a song competition
I am also glad they were in the selection in the first place considering in the past few years most song in the selection were not very unique
Amazing ireland well done ✅
I can't wait to see it live as I expect it to improve even more for Eurovision
It is fantastic. I love it
Me too, greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷
Love your ideas on Ireland’s previous entries. You’re right, they were liked but not loved enough to get votes. This will get passionate votes.
Previous years have proven that sending an "okay" song that makes no impact means no points so I am glad Ireland decided to take a risk.
Well done - astute review. Smashing entry and I’m mad biased !
Thank you for your comment! Means a lot 😊

@esc_victor08 oh the juries are gonna destroy it 😂 but I do see it getting their highest result since 2018 so a win is a win
They call it ouija pop
Ouija Pop
I like that definition, it truly sounds like that :)
0 Points from Zürich. My ears are bleeding!
Horrible song
You are no fun.
