- This is part 5 of mission 6 called Return To Schmerzen: Storming Fort Schmerzen. This is the final level.
This level is a fairly long one that requires you to blow up Fort Schmerzen by planting explosives on some gas junctions and by releasing the mustard gas that they've been producing there.
This is a redo of my original walkthrough, which was very poor quality and it was slightly modded. This time, I won't have any mods, and it's in very good quality at 720p. The main reason for the better quality is that I'm on a much faster computer and not a laptop like I was last time.

I like how probably all Medal of Honor last missions will be to sabotage something or less likely to defend a small area against a massive counterattack.

Same when i played this mission yesterday, i was really impressed that actually bot teammates did a good job for me lol
This mission was terribly hard, especially after everything started exploding. I seem remember it as 'Fort Clusterfuck'...

I could remember playing this when I was a teenager a few years back, such a great game, storyline was way better than any cod game, I remember it would take me all day to win this mission, it always gave me horrible nightmares too, such a hard creepy mission
When escaping from the fort, I was just like "OH SHIT! OH SHIT!". Those nazis just firing at me like hell and I have to kill them like hell. When I died there, the train cargo just suddenly opened and someone shouts "Come on pal, get in the train" and I was like "Why don't you idiots fucking help me clearing this fuckers instead of waiting for me to kill them all first or having me die out here". So many memories about those moments. Even I can remember it when I rages so hard
I distinctly remember the shotgun as the best weapon to run and gun with as you escaped,
The thought of being stuck in there with sulfur mustard seeping through the complex is nightmare fuel
The last part of the mission was really epic

my dad's friend has visited us once a brang the game to "test" if the installation works, i was like 7 yo - game installed and worked, so he took the cd and went back to my dad, i was back playing worms or something, next day i was like 'ok lets look if this game still works' - and it worked no-cd, destroying the tanks on tutorial and omaha beach storm... man what a memories
So, like, escaping is just...uuuuuurgh. You get staggered by a single shot, and there's a full squad of guys when you're trying to leave the station, and on top of the explosion, you're getting fired at, stagger, cant see, cant fire back, get blown up by the facility, and somehow have to make it through all that. You're lucky in some instances, the nazi's you're shooting don't die for me. I unload several stg 44 rounds into their face, I can see them literally stand there, shake their head, and return fire. When I tried to run out, I had 1 guy in the room behind, 1 in the main room, 1 runs in. I turn the corner there's 6 more standing next to the overturned desk, and they're spread out. I have 95-ish health when leaving, but they'll kill me super quickly because I cant escape the facility and have the time to kill them all...I reloaded this part probably 30 times before beating it.
You're playing on a higher difficulty than him. I know that because I did and I couldn't beat it either.

It is good for educational purpose. In fact, I think every school should have a course on how to play this game and what it can teach us about history.

i remember when i 1st played this game, i would run around my house with a stick and pretend it was a m1, those were the days.
17:29 it took me like 10 retries to realize that guy was hiding in that jail cell or whatever and he kept killing me from behind.
Man, I assumed it was just from the explosions.
I just got past the sniper's last stand Level and i got to the part where i got the stg44. AND ITS AMAZING!!! I love how you can use 3 shots to kill People.
Because it was easy to waste it than conserve it as I knew I'd get plenty in future.
Great game in general, but totally unrealistic at the start, there's no way you could just magically pick off the soldiers in the towers, everyone would be shot to pieces as soon as they got outside, even if all the Germans only had bolt-action Mauser Karabiners (Carbines) Kar 98K's. Also, why do they always show sniper bolt-action rifles having to be reloaded "individually", i.e. each round has to be put in one at a time, when all bolt-action rifles have at least a 5 x round clip (a curved piece of metal to hold 5 rounds, or for the US M1 Garand, an 8 round clip). There's absolutely no way that you would be able to carry loose rifle rounds in your ammunition pouches, you'd lose them/they would fall out everyone time you opened your pouch, instead the rounds would be in 5 round clips, etc. I know it's just a game and it's part of the gameplay/it presents a challenge, but more realism wouldn't hurt the gameplay either. And shotguns weren't used in WWII in Europe or most other theatres.
1) this is deep inside Axis territory. Complacent security is a problem anywhere. Possibly the only people who would be suited for guarding a secret weapons facility would be the SS, owing to them being true believers in nazism, but they were busy being amped on pervitin and burning down/raping Warsaw at this stage in the war.
2) the sniper rifle is a Springfield 03 with a M82 scope, with very low clearance to the breech that would not allow you to fully insert a stripper clip. If you wanted to drill a new (raised) mount to accommodate a stripper clip It would be expensive and take the weapon out of service for a fair minute.
3) Individual soldiers in Europe brought over trench guns for use in places like Aachen for extreme close quarter fighting. It was in inventory, so it's not unreasonable.
4) Static defensive emplacements like a fort were not used by the Germans in the later stages of the war as they knew they could be bombed to shit easily. So the idea of a Fortress Schmerzen is already questionable.

I passed all levels in hardest difficulty.
I would believe so.
Take out the people on the ground first, they don't respawn.

Which Difficulty this is, Medium = Normal or even the Hard!?? This is probably one of the hardest game to play, if!, if you try to get no hits (on you) and the Enemy is so deadly! Of course you can achive this with Quick Saves and Downloads and Playing on Easy level, but still it is quite / so hard to try to get no hits and Its' getting harder and harder when you hardened your Dificulty Level! But! You don't need and have to play this way = to get no hits, but mostly have just fun and try not to get killed, cause = becauuse that is enough also!
This is on easy, but I have done this mission on hard. If you think this was hard, try Spearhead and Breakthrough! I may try a playthrough of getting no hits, but you're right, it's best to play this to have fun! Thanks for watching!

I've done a video of the hard mode, and I've done the Spearhead and Breakthrough in hard too. They were so difficult!
Jabberminor oh man , i can't pass the last mission , when i kill two soldiers in the room and go out i found 100 soldiers waiting me outside 😜 , and the building blows very fast 😅😅😅
The very last bit before you go onto the train? That took me so many attempts! So goddamn difficult! I recommend quicksaving quite often during that if you have a lucky moment.

There are some very difficult parts like Schmerzen or the final scene. You have to Save and Load all the time.
About medals, before u start be sure u know where these exist. For examble, somewhere in the middle of the game u have to keep alive all hostages in order to get that medal.
About analysis, are you sure there was 1080 in 2002?

TK2008BEST I didn't use cheats. I did however use a console command to make the game be 1920x1080. I've yet to record the final two levels, which shall be very difficult indeed. I do know where the medals are, but the level 6 medal is going to be difficult on hard.
Even I can do that on easy, man.
