Great video Keith. Definitely do more of these types, you are good at it. I make roasted parsnips all year round, not from frozen though. They always taste good. A lovely vegetable. The only frozen veg I find that never disappoints are peas and sweetcorn. Plus chips/potatoes.
Parsnips are cheap and excellent in soups and broth s as well as roast and mash. I always buy fresh. You can always cook fresh and freeze at home if necessary.😊
Just a useful tip l use lceland parsnips you need to give them a light spray with oil add some more honey also a drizzle of maple syrup makes so much difference 😋👌
I don't know what this honey glaze thing is all about parsnips are much better done in beef dripping as are roast potatoes. I'm thinking you should have done the frozen M&S ones as well but they are £5 a bag can they be that good to warrant charging £5 a bag me think not.
Then why are you watching and commenting we don't want to know that? But if you are posting make it sensible and not gobbled out like a drunk, OH maybe you are drunk.
That’s such a closed mind some pepole can’t afford fresh some have a tight budget and I’ll have you no this range stands up against fresh I’d stop being a snob I will add I’m talking about the Iceland range aldi ones look rubbish
@@OneBeardedBadger It’s not being a snob.🙄. Parsnips are in season,so are therefore very cheap. How difficult is it really? To buy vegetables in season, peel, and bung in the oven? Answer- it’s not difficult and it’s not expensive to buy vegetables in season so,yes it’s lazy!
@@OneBeardedBadger watch the review even keith would make his own,you like frozen veg i dont, they do aunt bessies potatoes also be right up your street wont they, make an effort veggies are not that dear !!
Not very convenient if you use 40-45 minutes of gas only to find they're horrible. A speed peeler would have taken 50 seconds to peel a parsnip, 5 mins in boiling water, spray of oil drizzle with honey and oven for 20. No preservatives and you know you've cooked them, want to be faster? Airfry! But I get why you're doing it Keith. Both frozen ones looked like off cuts as well 👹👹
Good video. Gives people goodies information on different makes of products. As you know some are better than others
"Look at them, they're pathetic"........."I'm going in with an open mind" 🤣
Hello Keith and Nat hope your both well Thankyou so much for sharing great 😊 video 🎅🏻🧑🎄🎄

Absolutely love Roast Parsnips (no honey mind). Like extra Roast Spuds 😋 But boiled....No Ta.
They smell like BO when they're boiling 🤢

That looks like a different brand from ALDI, the ones I get are in a yellow bag and are quite good but I do agree that doing your own are much better
I always use fresh parsnips
Better by far
You get what you pay for I guess, looking forward to seeing yours , cheers.

Frozen cauli is pretty good, but I'm not a fan of frozen broccoli.

Go to your local green grocer and you would struggle to pay over 20p per parsnip. Why would anyone buy frozen?
Icelands is a total rip off now by fresh
Hi I don't like them and turkey roast beef dinner Christmas day Yorkshire puddings and vegetable roast potatoes and mashed potato with veg gravy
