I was born in 1991 so I was too young to enjoy most of the LEGO in the 90s, but oh boy was that catalogue from 2002 a trip down nostalgia lane. I remember owning that exact catalogue and spent so much time looking over it as a kid...
A friend of mine had the lego studios movie set and we had SUCH A BLAST with that! We would make hysterical corny videos that had no plot or substance but it was so fun!!!! He eventually let me have the camera and software amazingly enough and i made a battle scene for my seminary class back then! Man that was fun! Yes it was crazy expensive! I was amazed Nathan was able to get it back then. He's the one i did those videos with.
2:31 I believe that Imperial Shuttle was my first LEGO Star Wars set that I purchased and it took me awhile to get comfortable with those sets, so by post 2002 I was fully into LEGO Star Wars!😂😂 But they were expensive back then compared to the quality.
That was awesome to see all of those! My favorite was the 1996 catalog, that was right in my main era of collecting as a kid. The Metro PD Station was my favorite Christmas present ever, I played with that set so much.

I have some of those star wars sets still! It was really nice to see an ad for them again.
Man those were the days
Love the nostalgia!
Oh man i love those magazines! I remember having them! I'm trying to get them back though on bricklink and i keep forgetting to.
I was able to get that brick built lego figure a few years ago! It is a sweet sweet set!!
A lot of great pirate ships in there. If only I had been looking for those in 2002 instead of Star Wars.
Those are super cool!
1992 was the beginning of my dark ages. These little critters called children showed up in my life that required my attention and resources.😮😅😊
A really old one from 1992.... thanks for reminding me i old 🤪
Am I the only one that plays lego video games?!
