This is by far the craziest MINI I have ever had the privilege of filming. It started life as a normal R59 JCW Roadster, but the wealthy owner had other plans for this car. It's the most unusual MINI on the road today. You thought Petrol Ped's JCW Roadster was cool? Wait until you see this. This MINI's rear wheel track is wider than a Lamborghini Aventador.

I never thought I'd be annoyed by a Mini Cooper, but here we are! Having those rear wheels on a front-wheel drive car is just ridiculous.

As an owner of a JCW Roadster, this thing is horrendous! I can’t believe that the Mini Dealership would even want to put their name to this monstrosity.
This mini haunts my dreams still. This is the second time I watch this video.
As an owner of a JCW R59 Roadster, this is the ugliest and not well thought out modifications I've ever seen on a Roadster. You can achieve a Stage 3 modification with the same HP, without that ugly oversized air intake, a silly rear fixed-wing with the retractable factory wing. Not sure why you have 2 air-intakes and 2 rear wings that are not aerodynamically functional together? Not to mention the ugly nonmatching rear wide tires and rims. Hey Rocky not only did you butcher the car, but you won't win any drag race or road race in that Roadster. You made it officially a clown car

@@TheMINIac Has nothing to do with the fact that it is a MINI. It has everything to do with it is poorly modified and it decreased it driveability. Generally, when you modify a car you try to make it look better or drive better. Nothing done here did that.

The MINIac It has some bolt on mods and a tune, that intake hood scoop thing is down right hideous, riveted on fender flares.. I can’t see this build costing more than 8,000$
The MINIac It makes 300hp, it costs nowhere near 20k to make 300hp with the N engines.. the jcw challenge exhaust is a literal 3” straight pipe and a catless downpipe. The most expensive parts of this build are probably the internals and the obnoxious overkill intake.. I’m sure it has some coil overs and a rear sway bar? Interior is bone stock. Whoever offered over 70k is either joking or an actual moron. Why would even offer more than the asking price?
I made 300bhp (260whp) in an automatic R55 N18 for less than 4 grand. Everything else on this car is cosmetic nonsense. Idk what that buyer must be thinking they're getting. 🤣

That is the stupidest and totally counter productive MINI I have ever seen. Watch the intake, when that car comes on boost it loses vacuum to operate the intake and actually creates a restriction - DUMB. Then you are dragging along an additional 100+ lbs in rear tires.
Wheel, wheel adapters and tires weigh less than stock? Doubt it.
This is not what I expected to see in your 2014 JCW roadster review. WHAT a HOOT! It just needs one of those air horns like clown cars have in parades. The exhaust on the hood.....well I wouldn't want that coming in my face in a convertible but to each his own.

The MINIac I’m sorry to comment again in a negative way but what a joke! $20k for a hack job like this??? What a fucking joke! You can drop $20k into an r53 that look presentable and make at LEAST 400-450 hp. Also, it’s a carb intake, not for an air intake😂 and for a “dealership being involved” it looks like some dudes in the back of Home Depot went to town attaching it to the hood
