We're pretty sure that one family in Orlando owns most of those stores. Most of the items you showed, including the pins, are officially licensed, believe it or not. They sell those type of Disney pins at Walgreens too.
Attractions Magazine - yup, i was gonna say the pins are not knock offs. 1 cause i purchased a few of those pictured at the parks. 2 the website on the package is a real website and leads you to the official “shop Disney” website.
Kevin Strachan unfortunately that means nothing to me as I'm not a driver and I'm from the Uk but I'm guessing an Uber would? Do you know which Disney resort or park that its closest to? Or if it's closer to the Mall of Millenia? Thank you for answering
My family always goes to this gift shop because of how weird and goofy it is. We always holler "WIZAAAARD" in the car when we see it. We bought one of those baby palm trees on our first trip in 2003, it's huge and still alive in NJ all this time later.
I was going through the checkout at Publix this afternoon, using one of my Disney reusable shopping bags. It’s sparked a conversation and the young man waiting on me mentioned the vloggers he watched, and his favorite one was the Tim tracker. Small world, know that you are appreciated!
I work in a nail salon and i was telling a woman (who happened to be from england) about tim without saying his name and she goes "ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE TIMTRACKER" as excitedly as she could. made my whole day tbh lol
I think the Disney merchandise in these stores is similar to the stuff you would get at Wal-Mart. It's legitimately licensed but not the same quality as the parks and Disney stores hence the lower price.
Agreed. If they were knock offs, they wouldn't say "Mickey Mouse" or "Minnie Mouse" but, instead "Michael and Minerva Mouse" or what have you. Also, Disney is super litigious. They may have loosened up a bit over the last decade, but not that much. Trademark is A BIG DEAL still.
Tim is brave bc i believe now in 2019 the area is semi sketchy but just use the same caution you would in any city. Im from ga we usually drive and um me ,my mama, and my stepdad stay with the weapons ....I once joked we were having to bring thr atl out of us in that area bc folks are nuts ....
The mugs with the tiny spoons are the best. You use the tiny spoon to scoop things into your drink like honey or sugar, then you have something to mix your drink with. And the spoon being nonmetal makes it a much better experience than using a metal spoon
I’m from New York but I’m in Orlando a few times a year every year and this brought me back to my childhood! My little sister and I loved this store growing up and it’s cool to see that someone actually filmed inside!
Tim and Jen, Thank you so much for doing this video. My wife and I went to Disney this year and stayed off property and saw both of these stores and wondered about them but did not have time to see them. As always, you guys posted a great detailed video about the stores so that we go the sense we were there. Thank you for what you do. Your videos are a part of my wives and my daily routine. You will never understand the impact you have. Thank you.
You know the thing I love about you guys? You guys still have a sense of wonder about things that I would consider mundane. Like the crab magnet with moving arms. I smiled so big because I’ve never seen someone get excited over those. But you’re right, they are fun. Reminds me of Huell Howser who had a PBS show called California Gold. He just traveled California and marveled at the simple joys in life.
It's not Disney knock off stuff. It's stuff officially licensed by Disney. Other stores all over the country sell similar items. You won't find these things in park gift shops. If they weren't legal Disney would already have them removed.
I love these shops! There’s one with a giant flamingo on the front and one with bald eagles painted all over it (or at least there used to be). They were fun to visit in the evenings after leaving the parks. We also used them in a pinch if someone in our family forgot to pack a sweatshirt or pants, etc. It’s cheaper than buying at the park when you’re vacationing on a budget. Thank you for the nostalgia trip Tim. This made my day! ❤️
Oh that brings back memory's of our visit to Florida in '98 and '00. Just across the road we stayed in the "Sheraton Inn" probably an different resort now a days. Greetings from the Netherlands
I went to Florida last year and stayed at the Holiday Inn right by to that wizard shop and other souvenir shop! I'm guilty of buying useless knick knacks there but love it so much!
Tim, this was literally one of my most favorite videos! My family is here from GA (we are in VA) and we sat and reminisced forever because of this video about our childhood vacations- we would always find the tackiest, craziest looking gift shop and pull over to explore what treasures we could find. We love kitschy FL gift shops and love all the random crap in them! The “I hate my wife” shirts crack me up and I love that you can find a figurine of shells playing poker!
Me and my fiance have been to Florida for the last 3 years and stayed on that strip and we love the gift shop. That's where we get all our gifts for people and find some random things 😀
I love wondering round these shops when I’m in Orlando, when I was the me and my sister used to look out for the wizard shop every time. Can’t wait to be back soon
Gift shops of those type are so nostalgic to me. I love the cool stuff that is so corny, but I love it. The gift shops remind me of my childhood days, going to Panama City Beach with my family and hitting all of the gift shops, looking for that one thing that would represent the era of that time. I even remember the gift shops up in the Smoky Mountains in Cherokee, and how cool they were back then. Do some more of these vids in Florida gift shops when you can Tim. I love this stuff. Thanks.
OMG!!! THANK YOU!! I stayed at the comfort suites close to that shop, and I bought my first Disney souvenirs there on my first Disney vaca!!! it brings back great memories!!!!
When you went to the gift shop opposite Perkins you gots me in the feels. Perkins is one of them places we always went too when I was a kid. My dad passed boxing day, and we were meant to come back this year but we cancelled the holiday... We couldn't do it. It hurt too much. So yeah, this video just really hit me. The second one you went too is definitely one of the better gift shops we've ever found for cheap Florida stamped stuff
Oh cool store! My favorite thing is the Buzz Lightyear glasses! They are awesome! I also like the postcard with Buzz and Woody on it! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
i used to stay there at different hotels at 192, liked the giftshops there , not the time-share sellers. wizard giftshop was there 10 years ago already. loved the store
Greetings from Canada We have been to those gift shops. I literally laughed out loud at your comments. You and Jenn are so sweet. Thank you for being you. Xoxoxo
This reminds me a lot of what my family and I fondly refer to as “junk stores” in Myrtle Beach. The dead animals they sell depress me but always fun to go into those shops.
You guys are the best! You’re just nice people and we enjoy all your videos. It’s my birthday today and my daughter got me a Ding Dang shirt! Best gift ever!!!!!!
I want a TIm Tracker shirt that says "Lets go into the Wizard together! This is my favorite video and honestly, i'm not really sure why, maybe a special connection to the Florida souvenir shops but I really enjoy it!
The Wizard Gift shop is the best!!! Coming down to Florida for the third time very very soon and I’ve gotten most of souvenirs (excluding theme parks) from that shop!!
I can't believe you've never been to the giant wizard gift shop before! When I was a kid I used to think it was the coolest store in the world... until you get older and realise every gift shop in that strip sells the exact same thing and the magic is gone xD
These shops are where all us tourists get our souvenirs from. Loads of them on international drive 😀 Love the fridge magnets. Tim is like a kid in toy shop 🤓
Tim you made my day. We love this store. Been visiting them for years. There's one with a Mermaid on the front too, however we now call them all the Wizard shop. So tacky but fun. X
We just met you guys in Disney springs!! My boyfriend and I Love your videos and you both were so nice!! Thank you for taking the time to meet us! It made our day❤️
Been past there a million times! We used to stay at a lot of the hotels on that road when we still lived in Ft Myers. I used to get great discounts through the place I used to work, Now we live 30 minutes away and go to Disney almost every weekend! Have to check out the gift shop next trip!
We would go into the gift stores when we stayed off property. Its been about 5 yrs since we've stayed off property. I always liked looking around them.
I love these stores so much. My husband and I bought a lot of fridge magnets in the wizard store as wedding favours. We literally bought abou $120 worth, the cashier didn't bat an eyelid!
The tiny cup with a spoon looks like a demitasse set. It's nice to use for espresso. I've always wanted to go in that wizard head shop. But it's not the kind of thing that we save time for. It's exactly what I thought thanks for the look, I enjoyed it!
There's this one gift shop I went to that's connected to a Ponderosa. Going there for the breakfast buffet before going to the gift shop is one of the smaller memories that help bring in the magic of Orlando's theme parks.
Little cups and spoon - Demitasse. used in some coffee houses for espresso and other coffee drinks - Means half cup in French. Weird trivia item stored in my head!
Every time I’m in Orlando I have to fight the urge to go into these stores and buy a bunch of unreliable crap just because it looks hilarious. That lightbulb shot glass/bottle looks fun!
I love when you do these little side trips. You ask all the right questions, too. "Who licensed this?" You'd think the city wouldn't "officially license" products that allow you to impersonate a lifeguard. I don't see the upper brass of any org doing that.
We loooove these stores ! As a family we all go in and try and find the most cheesy gift. My best one was a toilet ashtray that said ‘ rest your ash here 🤣🤣🤣’
Those gift shops are my favourite, and are always on the must do list when we have a non Disney vacation. (We alternate, one year Universal, the next year Disney etc.)
Great stuff - We came to Florida in August this year, and stayed at Celebration Suites, not far from these outlets and right next to Old Town. We loved the area, and will be back next year. Keep the vids coming Tim and Jen. They were incredibly useful when we were planning our trip (over from England). Great work guys!
Found your channel before we first came to Orlando a couple of years ago and have been hooked ever since! Always wondered what was in that Wizard Shop! Drove past it many times!
This place looks huge. I’d be in my element!! I love souvenirs 😃😃 totally gonna check that place out next time I’m in Florida. Thanks for the tips Tim 👍
So glad you did this video, I have always wanted to go into both these gift shops but I never did, they certainly have some unique items, worth a look though!!
OMG TIM! There are only 1 of those gift shops on every corner. I figured you would have been in those gift shops a million times. GOOD STUFF CHEAP. we go there all the time.
Omg this is crazy, I was lucky enough to be able to go to Florida and Disneyland twice growing up, once in 2001 and then again 2004, both times i went to this gift shop and thought it was the greatest place ever, i never forgot it! our Villa that we would rent was around the corner if i remember. so happy to see that other tourists love and know this place too and that it's still a thing. I remember there being tons of cheap, knock off Disney merch shops dotted around the area? This is the place to go to get cheaper Disney Merch for sure, Disneyland is not cheap at all! Sending warm regards from the UK! 🇬🇧
We're pretty sure that one family in Orlando owns most of those stores. Most of the items you showed, including the pins, are officially licensed, believe it or not. They sell those type of Disney pins at Walgreens too.
Yea they are legit. The parks give them (sell them) to the souvenir stores when they are out of season and didn't sell in store.
Yep, couldn't imagine a shop selling knock-offs would last long right in Disney's backyard.
Whaaatttt I did not know that
Attractions Magazine - yup, i was gonna say the pins are not knock offs. 1 cause i purchased a few of those pictured at the parks. 2 the website on the package is a real website and leads you to the official “shop Disney” website.
Yea, Tim's complete lack of common sense here was hilarious
I’ve passed that gift shop every time I’ve gone to Orlando and I’ve never gone in before so it’s interesting to finally see what’s in it!!
Where in Orlando is it please?
@@yorkshirelassdiaries4841 along 192
Kevin Strachan unfortunately that means nothing to me as I'm not a driver and I'm from the Uk but I'm guessing an Uber would? Do you know which Disney resort or park that its closest to? Or if it's closer to the Mall of Millenia? Thank you for answering
@@yorkshirelassdiaries4841 just Google wizard gift shop 192, and it should come up.
It makes me feel depressed but something tells me id spend hours in it anyway again lol
My family always goes to this gift shop because of how weird and goofy it is. We always holler "WIZAAAARD" in the car when we see it. We bought one of those baby palm trees on our first trip in 2003, it's huge and still alive in NJ all this time later.
wait it acctely grew? could you maybe send me a pic? haha
OMG I WENT THERE YESTERDAY 😳 IT HAD SO MANY CHEAP PINS AND VERY CHEAP GOOD QUALITY I RECOMMEND IT 😊
I was going through the checkout at Publix this afternoon, using one of my Disney reusable shopping bags. It’s sparked a conversation and the young man waiting on me mentioned the vloggers he watched, and his favorite one was the Tim tracker. Small world, know that you are appreciated!

This gift shop (and the area around it) was featured in the movie The Florida Project! Definitely worth a watch!
Dereck Majors yes what an amazing movie!!!!!
Yes I watched it on the plane to Orlando
That’s why I’m here!! Haahahah
I think the Disney merchandise in these stores is similar to the stuff you would get at Wal-Mart. It's legitimately licensed but not the same quality as the parks and Disney stores hence the lower price.

yes and all the other gift shops on this stip
Yes you’re 100% correct.
Instantly thought of the Florida project!
I remember this gift shop from my childhood! Honestly these tacky shops are one of my favourite parts of visiting Orlando 😂
Maddie! It's me, John! Do you remember me?!

Pretty sure it's also an espresso mug. I know espresso sets come with small spoons like that

Every time me and my family go to Florida we always visit these shops to buy souvenirs for family. So cool to see them featured in a vlog
I went to Florida last year and stayed at the Holiday Inn right by to that wizard shop and other souvenir shop! I'm guilty of buying useless knick knacks there but love it so much!
I love the spoon in a cup handle. It’s great for tea. The hole is convenient to stick the paper end of the tea bag string in.

I was cracking up the entire video. I'd love to go look at the gems these places have. Thanks for sharing Tim.

Tim's commentary, and Jen's editing is what makes your vlog my favorite. The banging deal on muffins got me. Thank you for making me laugh everyday.
The mugs with the tiny spoons are convenient for work when you keep a mug of your own in a shared kitchen space. You can grab it easily!
Oh cool store! My favorite thing is the Buzz Lightyear glasses! They are awesome! I also like the postcard with Buzz and Woody on it! Thanks for sharing your day with us!

That was one of the most entertaining videos you've done! I love those type of gift shops.

This made me laugh way too much! I think particularly because Tim was so complimentary in such a serious way...
I love it.... things we buy that we don't need. I am always a sucker.
I never go in to the gift shops whenever I'm in Orlando and I always pass by this spot so this was nice to see
I’ve been collecting figures made of shells for my grandparents since I’m a kid. There was some good ones in the second store! Lol!
Tim Tracker= The only person on the planet to make a weird gift shop absolutely fascinating!!! 😄
I live about 10 minutes from both of these and still have never been to either of them. At last I have finally seen the inside of them!!
It’s the same as primark uk selling Disney stuff . Brings back so many memories of our holidays ❤️
these gift shops are so fun to browse in!
We would go into the gift stores when we stayed off property. Its been about 5 yrs since we've stayed off property. I always liked looking around them.
I went to the 2nd gift shop while I was at Disney a few years ago, can’t wait to go this Christmas!
This may have been my favorite Tim Tracker video ever. Too funny!
I love these stores so much. My husband and I bought a lot of fridge magnets in the wizard store as wedding favours. We literally bought abou $120 worth, the cashier didn't bat an eyelid!
This is the gift shop used in the movie "The Florida Project". Thanks for the upload
I bought a heathered grey Orlando sweatshirt with a gecko on it in 1995! I still luv this shirt so much I wear it over 25yrs later
Omg those stores were such a big part of every family vacation ever! 😂
The tiny cup with a spoon looks like a demitasse set. It's nice to use for espresso. I've always wanted to go in that wizard head shop. But it's not the kind of thing that we save time for. It's exactly what I thought thanks for the look, I enjoyed it!
The Perkins sound bite made my day.
I bought my alligator head from the Wizard store, I love those junk stores.
I pass this gift shop every time in in Florida and always wondered what was in it. Now I know!! I love your videos Tim!
Love It! And i always wondered what replaced the dogs playing poker in velvet painting form. Now i know.......
This Was Such A Fun Video! I would love to see more gift shop videos!!😊❤️
Every time I’m in Orlando I have to fight the urge to go into these stores and buy a bunch of unreliable crap just because it looks hilarious. That lightbulb shot glass/bottle looks fun!

i miss seeing these tourist gift shops..finally heading back to orlando in less than two weeks! 💗💘💓💞💖
Love hearing Land Down Under by Men at Work.
We loooove these stores ! As a family we all go in and try and find the most cheesy gift. My best one was a toilet ashtray that said ‘ rest your ash here 🤣🤣🤣’
Now I'm going to have to stop in at one of those stores the next time we head to Disney! Such cool things!
Those gift shops are my favourite, and are always on the must do list when we have a non Disney vacation. (We alternate, one year Universal, the next year Disney etc.)
I didn’t think those places let you film! Fascinating.
Great stuff - We came to Florida in August this year, and stayed at Celebration Suites, not far from these outlets and right next to Old Town. We loved the area, and will be back next year. So glad you did this video, I have always wanted to go into both these gift shops but I never did, they certainly have some unique items, worth a look though!!
I didn't think it would be possible for me to have just one favourite TimTracker video. But I was wrong. And this is it.
OMG TIM! There are only 1 of those gift shops on every corner. I figured you would have been in those gift shops a million times. GOOD STUFF CHEAP. we go there all the time.
I stop at these gift shops every chance I get- they’re so much fun thank you for making this lmao it makes me feel like I’m visiting Florida 😍
Also the jokes about the I hate my Wife shirts are spot on lmfao
The shells playing cards was the best!

At 1:44 when I was little (the late-80s) my mom had that shirt and I loved it! She doesn't have it anymore though.
