      Robin Lindell if you are new to this channel, Eric did a video of Robban doing a bouldering route awhile back. Do some digging. I'll try to find it too.

    how come you don't use the lift while filming lead videos?

    • @MillerSteinbrenner77
      @MillerSteinbrenner77 7 років тому +5

      The lift most likely needs to be in a roped off area for other climbers safety, similar to when they close off an aisle for customers in large stores like Home Depot so they can let a fork lift through and pull stuff off the shelves.

    • @aaronpower998
      @aaronpower998 7 років тому

      Miller makes sense

    • @StuffSlimey
      @StuffSlimey 7 років тому +2

      What Miller said is a factor however, we always film lead when the hall is closed. But mostly it's because we don't know how to operate it or have the necessary permits. But we might be working on that.

    • @StuffSlimey
      @StuffSlimey 7 років тому +1

      mr-mouse Oh yes. Passion and 15 years of setting experience I think. :) I don't build anything myself... yet. But teaching climbing and belaying are two of the many things I do there.

    It's terrible (not the gym, the tnut situation)

  • @Bouldest1
    @Bouldest1 7 років тому +1

    Maybe a dumb question, but how did they run out of bolts when they have a blank wall? Didn't those walls have routes that were held up with bolts?

    • @bjornpohl528
      @bjornpohl528 7 років тому +4

      Different holds require different lengths of bolts, and as many of the Kilter holds are quite large we needed more long bolts.
