- THIS VIDEO IS ON DIFFERENT CRIMPING AND STRIPPING METHODS. USING WATERPROOF CONNECTORS AND DeeWALT (DeWALT) BATTERY ADAPTERS. BE ADVISED. NOT THE NORMAL WAY TO CRIMP BUT A BETTER WAY (MY OPINION). HEATING AND SHRINKING CONNECTORS NOT THE SUBJECT OR SHOWN. JUST SHOWING THE BETTER WAY TO CRIMP AND EASY WAY TO STRIP WIRE INSLUATION INCLUDING ROMEX.

Great idea! Much easier than running AC wires a long distance or using disposable batteries. I think you have found that with LED;s using voltage higher than spec'ed it will work. The issue is that excess heat from the higher voltage/current will cut the lifetime of the LED's by 2/3's or even more if over driven with enough voltage/current.
The light that works on 12 to 24V probably has some type of buck converter that outputs 12V for the LED's no matter the voltage input up to 24V? Maybe I am talking out of my lower body opening also? I generally know just enough about diodes to cause myself and others serious harm.
I do know that if I apply way, way to much excessive voltage and current to an LED strip, stuff explodes, smoke fills the room, AND, other people will yell at you, using a LOT of bad words while saying really mean things about you? LMAO
Hey great comment! I figured it would work fine with many different types of electronics. I as you am primarily concerned on how long it will last. It’s a cheap light so I’m not worried if it gets ruined. Blowing stuff up is fun, just not electronics in yer face! I’ll use the 12-24v out in the blind to be safe. Thanks again fir the advice!
I use them same one's at work and it has never let me down. Even on the semis
Right on! I appreciate the comment. Thanks bud!
Now I have to weight till after school to watch this video
