@@maecdai i have a 1060 in a silverstone rvz02 (which is almost identical to this just without the handle) and my gpu gets up to the high 70s. the temps are safe but the fan is almost always on full speed and it is LOUD. getting a new case because the noise is just too much
MD Productions The 1080, is a fan Gpu or the blower gpu? I recently bought the ml08 case and try to find out which card is the best for the case. For horizontal mode. Silverstone says the fan one, I did see a couple of videos comparing the fan and blower gpu. And each one says that the blower one is the best for sfcases. A bit confusing for me as I’m not an expert. Blower: Heat out the back outside the case, Fan gpu heat comes out from all sides and does not heat the case inside?
Newegg, if you have to choose between a silent case and a compact case (I believe that silent and compact are not compatible(?)), which type do you choose?
What a nice video! I got a few question.. So i currently in time for building sff build, and i like to build my cable from the ground The question is.. Because my mobo and my psu are side by side, what'd happen if i build 24pin so short? I mean, its just length i needed, so i build it so short.. Is there gonna be any harm by doing that? any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
Gpu: *Compatible with 13” long, width restriction - 4.78 The standard width for graphics card is 4.38” With the graphics card holder installed, the maximum allowable width for graphics card is 4.78” Without the graphics card holder, the maximum allowable width for graphics card is up to 6.15” If there is interference with rear support structure, you may remove it They also advise in this case (without graphics card holder) the case vertical and not horizontal. I also read this on a couple of reviews as I’m trying to find out the best video card for this case in horizontal mode, blower or the fan(s) one as in this video Not an expert so it’s a bit confusing..... Attending VectorLAN in April... waiting to see what AMD has up their sleeves at the beginning of next year and probably building something like this to fly with.
what about waiting until the new AMD ZEN APU with 36CPU cores and 16GCN cores is released as it is more likely to make a better processor for this sort of thing and the motherboard will be smaller just holding the UEFI/BIOS socket and GDDR4 memory sockets and peripheral connections as well as power connections and everything will be integrated into the AMD ZEN APU and you know what it will run at 5GHZ.
Why do you use the Intel 750 1,2 TB? It's one of the most expensive SSDs on the marked and raises the price of the setup by $819.99 according to newegg.com. Why not take a considerably cheaper Samsung 850 or any similar ones? OK, you wanted to use the U.2 Port, but it doesn't make any sense when you can just use a m.2 mITX Board like the ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming for example.
Can anyone recommend a slim but full size accepting pc case that looks like this or similarly smart? I have a great full size pc but the LEDs are annoying the hell out of me and I just want something that is unobtrusive.
That video of yours is pretty inspiring... I'm going to build a console killing destroyer portable unit, but I have a big question: Can you install a wider GPU? I mean, Silverstone's website specifies a 4.08in / 12cm max width, other places says 12,8cm, what about your experience ? I'd love to throw in a 14cm Zotac 1060 6GB AMP! , will that be possible ?
TheAtomic Soul pretty much all cars are limited to 120watt 12v outlet only so you could connect one that less than 120watt or get a 1000 or 1500watt Inverter
george pacan I was thinking of something you could wire to the battery. I'd rather not go from DC (car battery) to AC (inverter) then back to DC (PSU). That's a lot of power loss in each conversion.
Does anyone know if you have to buy the new better handle desperately or if they just upgraded it after they reviewed the case and sent back complaints?
joel gomez Of course. Keep in mind though that the mini ITX motherboard can only utilize up to 16Gb RAM. Not sure if that would even be an issue for you. Also, if you were going to exclude any and all GPU cards you might want to search for a more appropriate case. Although, you might be able to fit a soundcard in that space, just a speculation though.
So would a micro-ATX case be better like the Fractle node 804. im actually trying to build a pc for music and video editing and some gaming when I get bored.
joel gomez Unless you have a very specific build in mind that's only going to utilize one PCI slot mini itx is fine. It sounds like you'll be needing more than that if your going to be using a GPU and a sound card. Yes, there's external soundcards you could use, but that's just a compromise in my book, and who knows, an extra slot for expansion is always valuable. You never know if you might want a better nic / wireless later down the road. I would recommend to you that if you want to stay small but also have the available slots you should forgo the mini and look into micro ATX. Good luck man.
Just my 2 cents but the video card cooler is not correct for this case. I have similar build in this case but I have 980ti with triple fan and I have to remove the side panel of this case while gaming becuase otherwise I get thermal throttling. With such coolers part of hot air is dissipated inside the case which doesn't have extra fans to take it out . Stock card designs like nvidia founders edition is right for it
WOW some really nice micro itx case. i'm searching for a really tiny case that i can put a portable game machine that i can travel with. But i need space not only for my SSD but some space for my 4TB Hard Drive with my Steam Library. I can't find a place to put a HDD there ;/ Nice video m8!
I'm saying that its a bad example to go for the 6600, instead of the 6500 since its expensive than the 6500 and both dont make a difference in performance
JustGaming really? that small ~30$ difference made you raise an eyebrow? But that 700$ ssd is fine for a budget vr build right? If you had paid attention to the video, the part choices make perfect sense. Spoiler alert: They make no sense.
Can someone help me, I was on the newegg website and all my items were in the cart it totalled to £585.00(I'm from the uk). Even though I'm from the uk I never knew the price of the shipping would be £380. Any help or is this the normal shipping price. I'm 14 and looking to play on PC and I don't have the money to be paying that much for shipping.
Question time: I want to get a PC, first off. I have no idea where to start or what is better or worse. Secondly I don't want to spend much more than €600,- problem is, that includes a monitor and keyboard (still have a functional mouse laying around). I don't want to play big game titles on it like wither or battlefield etc (I'll play those on my console). I simply want to be able to play decent games every now and then at a decent framerate (30 is fine for me). Games like World Of Warships, and Cities Skylines and Total war for example. I want to be able to play those at good settings with a decent framerate. So what would I need to get I'm terms of graphics card or processor?

Hey, Newegg or anyone down in the comments do you think i could get an i7-7700k in the build. Im concerned about heat in it because i mine cryptocurrency (no OC) when im not gaming. P.S I'm glad i found this video because im about to buy vr and have the same RAM and GPU.
Wow, Newegg has really upped its filming quality and the set looks fantastic. Good job guys, can't wait to see future vids!
Wow, turned out that you bring some really high quality videos again. Was very enjoyable to watch!
Appreciate it :)
if this case made with a screen,woo...
you made a huge mistake though, everybody knows red colored computers run hotter
And everyone also knows that red colored computers put out more performance, thats why they run hotter. What is your point?
For real¿
Wow, I've never seen this case before. Making me more and more interested in building an ITX PC! Great video
damn this is a really good video. surprised, newegg was going down hill for a minute
Glad ya like it! The channel is "under new management" so time to get back to the good stuff :)
I stopped watching newegg after paul and the others left.... but it does indeed seem better as of recent.
Didn't pay attention to the channel name so I totally thought that this was a tech youtuber. Good stuff Newegg, good stuff.
"Powercolor Radeon RX480 Red Devil graphics card" What a mouthful!
I want that pc case in the back with the infinite mirror affect
that is the In Win 805 ∞ Infinity.
Zypher o
I just ordered this case with a R7 1700 and a GTX 1080 ti :)
FightBiscuit enjoy! That sounds like an awesome build!

nice, im thinking of doing this with a skt 1155 motherboard and RX 480 (I got a i7 2600 for $40)
Who even has lan parties honestly wish i had friends to go to lan parties with FeelsBadMan
im going to one tomorrow, my school has them every month
Same, if i had friends. Kappa
Just ordered the same case for my new VR rig.
Cool little build
dope... a little extreme but awesomeness in a tiny box. i like it
Mr87third Gaming same. It's way over the top. But it's a cool pc. Definitely want one to have under the tv.
I would also like to see a bit wider version of the case to fit in a cooler master masterliquid 92 cooler in there that would be cool. :)
Would this case work with 2 HDDs? Like, can I replace the odd bay with a pair of HDDs?
Are there any other power supplies that would fit in this case?
A good case for an APU build ?
Newegg, if you have to choose between a silent case and a compact case (I believe that silent and compact are not compatible(?)), which type do you choose?
So there is basically a pciex16 extender in these small cases?
I wonder if i could mod this and stick a radiator in this.
Good idea, yeah, I bet it's possible to cram a 120mm slim AIO, but you'd probably need to use a shortie GPU and put the radiator next to it.
***** I was thinking the same thing. They do make short 1070 and such so it think it is in the realm of possibility.
Newegg Studios hi I was wondering if this case can fit a 1 tb hard drive or is it just ssd only
Nice video how were the temperatures and noise
Can it fit within a bag pack?
HI Newegg I have a question does this case allow ATX motherboards?
Awesome video! How is the noise and temp?
Would this case work with enough clearance to fit a Ryzen 7 with the wraith spire cooler?
You pay a premium for Mini-ITX pieces? I never knew that.
I learned something today. Thank you.
For the PSU? Yes. The rest is about the same.
Plus a tiny bit more for harddrives if you need them
It only costs more for psu gpu's that are small cost less for some reason
But do you have problems about the heat?
does anyone know what that infinite mirror case was on his desk? or was it a mod?
Can this case fit a micro atx or only mini itx motherboards

Did you use standoffs to mount the motherboard? If so, what size?
how wide video card can you insert , cause in spec there is only 121 mm ? how come you have a wider GPU ?

how was the temperature when under load?
Does It has enough space to install an M.2 SSD if the slot for it is underneath the motherboard? (like with the Z170 Gigabyte Wifi)

Inwin 605 I do believe.

hi, would I have overheating problems with a reference Rx 480 using this case?
YES, I had the same case and my 1060, later 1080 were getting over 80C, when I switched to founders edition temps were around 65, it gets very hot
ealiev60 thanx I got the cooler master 352 instead

A 480 for $270, what a time!
EpicBlob that's how much an rx580 costs wtf
Very well made.
What do you suggest for using in a budget portable pc? (not a VR build)
-Silverstone ML08B-H
-AsRock AB350 gaming itx
-Ryzen 3 2200g
-Patriot 2×4gb ddr4 signature line
-Zotac gtx 1050ti
-WD green SSD 120gb
-WD black HDD 1tb 2.5"
-Corsair SF450 full modular
Cost $687
I hope this is helpful :)
AntiSpy That was very helpful
AntiSpy But if i were to get a bigger amount of money could a m.2 be an option?
sure, why not? :)
Can this case use a 3-Slot GPU? Such as the Zotac Amp Extreme?

It fits a 3.5'' if you're using a mini graphics card.
Waaaait? What's that case in the BG at 3:01
In Win 805 Infinity
How about
1 ryzen 5 3600x
2 zotac mini 1080ti
3 c7 cooler
4 msi b450i max wifi
5 2x8gb ddr4 lpx @3200mhz
6 1Tb wd m.2
7 sf600 psu
I don't think RX 480 would have been my first choice for a GPU, especially with a budget of $1900. Maybe a GTX 1080.
i5 6600...
why not 6500 at least?
Or a 6600K. Why use a Z170 board with a locked CPU?

I'm saying that its a bad example to go for the 6600, instead of the 6500 since its expensive than the 6500 and both dont make a difference in performance
And Bill Pairaktaridis, 6600k is not necessary for a VR Build anyway.
JustGaming really? that small ~30$ difference made you raise an eyebrow? But that 700$ ssd is fine for a budget vr build right?

Jammy dodger UK has newegg
20% import tax on GPUs and some PC parts. Mystery solved

This comment didn't age well.
You should have :
1.nVIDIA GPU (GTX 980 Ti or Higher)
2.1TB 2.5" HDD
3.If you can install an AIO cooler,Install it.
I wish I had money...I'm still stuck with an i3 2130.
