    好久没吃Texas Chicken了,里面最出名的就是他的招牌Honey Butter Biscuits牛油蜜糖松饼,想念就做来吃。做法其实跟司康很相似,所以方式简单,可是材料房温一定要冷,松饼才能蓬松好吃哦。烤好趁热立刻刷上浓香的牛油蜜糖,再回烤两分钟让牛油蜜糖融合跟上面的脆皮。出来又再二次刷上牛油蜜糖来给松饼光泽。外皮黄金酥脆且带有牛油蜜糖香甜,内部柔软蓬松口感,是的饼干和杯子蛋糕的最佳合成口感。真好吃。像Texas Chicken 的吗?
    保存方式:烤好立刻温吃最佳。彻底凉透收密封容器室温3天,冷冻冰库保存更久几个星期,要吃前那出来toaster中火弄热,放凉一下,让饼皮酥回再温吃。
    Haven't eaten Texas Chicken for a long time. Start to miss its signature Honey Butter Biscuits. The method is actually very similar to Scone, thus the method is simple, but the temperature of the ingredients and room must be cold to make the biscuits fluffy and delicious. While it’s hot after baking, brush with fragrant honey butter, then bake for another two minutes to let the honey butter blend with the crispy crust. Come out immediately brush 2nd time with honey butter to give biscuits shine. The outer crust is golden crispy with honey butter sweetness aroma, and the inner texture is soft and fluffy. It is the best combination texture between cookies and cupcakes. Delicious. Similar to Texas Chicken’s?
    Storage Method: Best eaten warm once baked. Let cool thoroughly and store in airtight container at room temperature for 3 days. Store in freezer for few weeks. Before eating, reheat them with toaster on medium heat, let cool till crust return crispy and eat warm.

    45克 蜜糖
    涂层后,预热烤箱190C: 2分钟
    上下火,不开旋风,顶层烤

      The time is not long, should be fine. But depends on your room temperature, it's all summer in my country in Malaysia

    It does taste like Texas Chicken Honey Butter biscuits! Yummy! Thank You for the detailed explanation too.
    My boy love it so much and asking me to bake more often. But I’m hesitant to do so because recipe required 14g of the baking powder which is quite a lot. Wondering whether can reduce the baking powder.

    Made mine in air fryer since i missed honey butter biscuits from Texas Chicken. Been so long since I go there due to pandemic😭
    Edit: i actually reduced the sugar because honey is sweet enough for my family and used lesser amounts of milk (added some vinegar too) since I think it's too much for the flour. Don't have to freeze the dough and it came out perfect. Air fried at 180C for ~15min

    Been following alot of your recipes for a long time now including your mochi, bread, mantou and cheesecake recipes! Have to comment on this one because i've been wanting to make these myself but coming across a recipe for this is not so common. I love honey butter biscuits more than the fried chicken itself 🤣 i tried this recipe today and it was delicious!! I didnt have an ice cream scoop so my biscuits turned out looking slightly flatter than it should be, even though i freezed them before baking... but it was still super buttery and delicious 😍😍 thank you for this recipe!

    Hi, if i prepare th dough at night n only bake th biscuits th morning after, how should i store th ready shaped/scooped dough? Can i jz chill it overnight n only put it in th freezer few minutes before baking? n i also baking using convection oven..will there any different setting for it? Tq!

    Hello. I have tried this recipe and I think 4 teaspoon of baking powder is too much, made the biscuits taste very bitter. I tried using 2.5 teaspoons baking powder (about 10 grams) and the biscuits can still manage to rise.

    Made these and they came out perfectly my very first try! Love them. I wonder if I can store the ready made dough in the fridge overnight until I bake them the next day, would that be fine?

      这位朋友,我今天凌晨烤的时候才发现我的蜜糖坏了,临时煮了一点焦糖代替。风味虽减,但是家人仍说好吃。我觉得需要注意的点是糖水要浓一点,因为我这次烤出来的比起前几次很快软掉了。

    it's weird because i've made this recipe 3 times already. This time, i used cream and made buttermilk using that and for some reason, instead of a sticky dough, i got normal kind of scone/biscuit dough that you shape and cut into wedges. Why did this happen, i used milk before and it's like your dough and this time it's different.

      More sugar will affect the shape after baking, might become flat, u can add more honey butter on top after baking

      As mentioned in video, this recipe is not sweet on its own, too much sugar in dough will cause it to not remain its puff shape after baking. So add more honey butter on top for more sweetness.
      Your biscuit dough should be overmixed, must be well baked to get crispy top

      里面是不能加多糖噢,不然就会烤出来扁的。上面要加更大蜜糖来调甜味噢。用无盐牛油
