- Benjamin Netanyahu informed UK Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron that Israel would decide its own response to an Iranian attack and would take all necessary steps to defend itself.
The British Government aimed to prevent escalation through discussions with Netanyahu, who had pledged to retaliate against the recent missile and drone attack.
Lord Cameron advised the Israeli Prime Minster to ensure any response is smart and limited, citing solidarity with Israel after the attack, and urged for restraint to avoid escalation.
Netanyahu reiterated Israel's determination to defend itself independently but this stance indicates to Western capitals that Israel is likely to act against Iran, despite calls for restraint.
TalkTV’s Vanessa Feltz is joined by defence analyst Lt. Col. Stuart Crawford and the University of Buckingham’s Professor Anthony Glees to discuss Netanyahu’s potential retaliation.
Anthony Glees says: “We are powerless to prevent ourselves being drawn into a wider and more dangerous conflict, because Netanyahu has fallen into the hole he has dug for himself.”

you see a victory in the iranian attack but you forget the iranian did won this battle. their attack was symbolic and did delivered them much info about the defence capabilities of Israël US and UK.
Also some ballistic rockets did hit the target, the militairy target Iran wanted to attack so the air defence system failed huge because Israël and many other where warned. Let's be honest, had we built nuclear power stations en masse, started fracking years ago, instead of net zero and the wind and solar obsession. We would have all are energy needs covered. We'd most likely have the infostructure built already to switch over to electric cars/bike. So zero reliance on oil or gas from foreign countries. Had we made efforts to be self sufficient in food, manufacturing (including making are own steel) etc etc. We wouldn't need to be involved whatsoever. It's not rocket science. Globalism has major downfalls. I'm not an isolationist, but you have to make sure that way a war starts around the world, the effects are as minimal as possible on your own country.
