3D Printing with Makerbot Replicator+ - Introduction, Setup and Use

When I plug in a USB, none of the files I am trying to print show up in the menu, is there a format or file type that it needs to be in to work?

The files need to be in .makerbot or otherwise the printer wouldn't detect the file
