How amazing are those Winter German figures? I'll be grabbing more of these in the future, that's for sure ... just don't tell Mrs.Panzers 😂 www.offensiveminiatures.com/winter-germans
Nice figures. The germans not look like "Winter Germans" just but seem to be "Gebirgsjäger" (Mountain Inf) in my eyes. For the finnish front (Murmansk region) or the Caucasus in the south of the Eastern Front (1942) in example.
As someone scrounging for more 28mm Soviets these look pretty promising. Do you think their soviet sculpts look slightly more slender than the rest of their range? I recently had some Eureka 28mm Soviets delivered and I love them. Very overlooked range.
I did initially think that they looked a little on the slender side but I think it's just the guy who's prone and then that made me question the others. I can get some better photos if you want to reach out privately? I really want to grab some more Eureka 28mm figures as they're absolutely lovely 😍
Kris, I’m going to have to stop watching your videos! Working my way through my 20mm WWII figures & then see this & now want some 28mm! Those winter Germans look fantastic on their website. Just wondering whether you’re going to do a scoring/comparison between 28mm ranges (Empress, Heer 46, Artizan, Empress, Perry metal, Eureka etc.) like you did for 20mm metal ranges? How would you rate them vs AB 20mm? Also size wise how do they compare to Warlord? Thanks Chris
Hahaha I can only apologise 😉 The Winter Germans really are absolutely lovely. It's not on my radar currently (a review series like my 20mm) however I think it might be something I'll consider if a few more companies contact me 🤔 I think for me AB still wins but that's probably because I'm a fan of smaller scale miniatures. In terms of size against Warlord metals, it seems to vary slightly between the different offerings they have but it's close 😁

Got some offensive miniatures from there WW2 range, outstanding miniatures 👍
I couldn't agree more buddy 🤩 what figures do you have in your collection?
I’ve got some of the American paratroopers and the LRDG on foot set
Great review and a wonderful company to deal with. I am using their figures for my Spanish Napoleonic project.
Thanks a lot mate 🤩 the Naps do look great from what I can see!

I was thinking the para with the jacket reminds me of Cardwood Lipton when he gets promoted to leiutenant!
Oh great point, you're spot on 🤩
Nice figures.

Oh yeah, great point indeed 👍 they still make for great winter Heer miniatures though right?
