The PSC (Plastic Soldier Company) 1/72 Panhard Armoured Car truly is a fantastic 3D printed vehicle. This 1/72 PSC Panhard is my favourite German 3D printed vehicle Plastic Solider Company offer, mainly because of how unique it is. This particular 3D printed model required little clean up and it took paint really well. Definitely give the 3D printed models from the Plastic Soldier Company a go,...

Great video Kris with simple process & lovely outcome. Got some resin SDKFZ 222s to paint up so will probably follow this process. Big ‘yes’ to your question re tank weathering video.
Thanks a lot buddy 🤩 I need some 222s actually! I'll get working on that weathering guide too 😉
Sorry for the poor mic quality on this one. My fancy microphone was playing silly buggers 😂
LOL, "flat Earth"... without the wacky cult belief system.
LOL I never even thought of that 🤣
Great video mate, I'm not a big fan of flames of war but I always love list building videos.
Glad you enjoyed it, I always love building lists too!
Hm... no OP? Think you will miss it in a game... Also: From my experience self propelled artillery is much more effective in the game because they can't be pinned. And playing a german late war list if your opponent brings on an allied list an air strike on your artillery is likely to happen.
Yeah great points indeed. I just find my Op never really does much as I use the LOS from my HQ or gun team itself 😅 2 points to be used towards something cooler!
as someone who has yet to play flames of war but finds the scale interesting and owns some battlefront models I really love list building vids as it gives me ideas
Glad to hear it, hopefully it gives you some good ideas for your own army. 😉 Plenty more list builds to come too!
Go for Panther SS (Late) Tank Company in next video!
I'll add it to the list ... ;)
Btw, in terms of video, i think it would be better if you would have ready list and you explain it, some tactics, or variations (5-7 minuts)
Looks like a fun list. Attacking with aggressive (hit on 3+) troops is always difficult, but you have to compromise somewhere. Great idea for an ”advent calendar” - looking forward to the next one!
i think a lot of 3+ stuff is overpriced or underpriced so to be competitive you need to make weird lists
Advent calendar is a great term for this! I completely agree with you mate, I also love Panthers. They aren't taken as often as I feel they should be but I guess that comes down to people opting for 2 Tigers over 3 Panthers.
i would like to put stugs into formation, you can have 14 + 26 points for reserves, i dont like idea of two infantry units in support, and late war inf without panzerfaust is no go for me, i won too many games due to bold moves of (often ss) infantry with fausts against tanks
playing with aggressive units on long range and concealment with careful oponent with same buffs is no go, worth to keep that in mind that, he will hit you twice much, and with for example plenty of brits 14 at it is short way to get bonked
Yeah some very valid points. I have had some success with (no AT) MG infantry holding an objective. They come into their own when defending against Russian infantry spam!
Let the debate begin! What would you add or subtract?! 😂
Nice model, great painted. 👍
Glad you like it 🤩 cheers mate 👍
🤝🎥👍
멋져요❤ 잘 보고 갑니다~
감사합니다! 😊
I love this particular armoured car - I have one for my French in 28mm, but now I think I might add one for the Germans too. Would love to see a good vehicle weather video. To be honest, so many of my vehicles get 2/3rds painted and then I just stop - I don't know how to finish them and am bewildered by the range of products to use and what I need to make them work together. Any help there greatly appreciated!
That's awesome mate. It really is a cool looking vehicle ... I'll be sure to get that video done as soon as I can 😍
The Panhard 178 is a good vehicle. I’ve been studying them some. With the German scheme, you will get more use out of it than with the French paint scheme. I’m thinking of patrolling against Partisans.
That's a valid point indeed mate 👍 I'm using this one as a Recce element for my FJ during Market Garden!
@ Excellent idea!! Did you notice the vision block towards the back over the engine deck? These were made to be able to drive forwards and backwards equally as a recon vehicle. Get out of trouble as fast as you got into it. Clever idea.
Looks sharp!
Cheers mate 👍 👌
Hey PP! Loved the video. I have also been disassembling my airbrushes and using a ultrasonic cleaner with 2 parts water to one part Vallejo airbrush cleaner? Is that a good idea, or bad idea?
Thanks mate 🙏 I think that's a great idea and sounds like a very good clean. Do you see much paint come out? I'd definitely recommend hitting it with a little Mr Hobby Tool Cleaner 400 as an extra additional clean once in a while. It really does eat through any paint ... just be careful if you're using an old airbrush it might damage your rubber o-rings.
@paintingpanzers I disassemble it before it goes into the cleaner. It gets some of the stubborn stuff out but I find you still have to clean the paint chamber.
Super helpful video for maintenance. But I still have no idea how to actually paint with it 😂 Im convinced I would buy one, set it all up, and then get horrible messy results, or spray a lot more than I wanted. But at least I know it's not for me.
Don't be afraid to get messy! It's all part of the learning process 😉 honestly though, it's actually really easy to use. Just make sure you get the right paints (tamiya are perfect for airbrushing if thinned down as per my other videos), set your compressor to 15psi and then just slowly pull the trigger back 🤩🤩
My "US FIELD DRAB" is a lot more brownish, watching the video it seem your it is more greenish. How it is possible? The code is the same 70873...
Yeah, the video lighting is a bit funny on this video, it is definitely US Field Drab. It should be brownish then when you mix in the Iraqi Sand you get that Khaki colour. Feel free to message me on painting.panzers1@gmail.com and I can try help a bit more if needed.
Just starting bolt action. Instant subscribe, great work!!
Welcome aboard, glad you found it helpful and it's great to have you here🤩 I hope you find my other tutorials useful too!
Thanks Kris - Another v helpful video, must admit flesh & faces in particular probably area I find hardest to paint. Personally not a fan of painting eyes at this scale from both a practical (time taken) & realistic (@ 28mm scale wouldn’t be seen) perspective but will certainly try out this method. Agree with thoughts voiced in comments re other skin tones esp Mediterranean & N African as useful for Hail Caesar - Numidians, Spanish & Carthaginians. Also how to paint bare arms, legs & torso for Celts etc. Cheers
I truly appreciate the lovely comment mate buddy! I must admit, I really don't like painting eyes at 28mm but it seems to be common practice. I'll definitely look at painting some other skin tones :) thanks again.
Thank you so much. Great to see the process. Amazing. You are very talented and informative. Keep up the good work!
I'm chuffed you found it useful 🙏 thank you so much 😉
Brilliant video, thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks mate 🤩
Superb, and thorough. Thank you.
Thanks a lot buddy, glad you found it useful 🤩
Thank you very informative
Glad you found it helpful! I'll be re-releasing this video at some point so it's better quality 😅
Panzer 1
Really amazing as always. Great work 😊
Glad you liked it, thanks buddy 🤩
Sikh/Indian soldiers would be fantastic! 🎉
That is definitely planned!
Top video as always. This will help me alot as most of my model look possessed. An 8th army indian unit would be great too
Thanks a lot buddy! I'm chuffed you've found it helpful 🤩 I think an Indian tutorial is definitely required!
Unbelievable build and paint job 👍
Glad you like it, thanks buddy 🤩
An excellent tutorial - will certainly help me do justice to the wonderful Paul Hicks sculpts. Speaking of other tutorials - I would love to see some to help me do darker skin (such as North African or Mediterranean Free French troops from the Second World War)
Thanks a lot buddy 🤩 it's a quick and simple method so hopefully it's easily followed. I'll definitely put that request down as it's something different 👏
Really useful video - thanks Kris. Result looks fantastic. I find skin tends to be hardest part to get right on a miniature so will try out this method. Not a fan of doing eyes at 28mm scale though both from a practical (time!) & realism perspective (wouldn’t be seen at that scale). Agree with suggestions re N African/ Mediterranean skin - good for Hail vs Caesar stuff Carthaginians, Numidians, Spanish etc. Also legs & torso skin painting. Cheers.
Fantastic tutorial mate. Great work.
Glad you enjoyed it mate 😍 thanks buddy!
