No, it's true. Even as an avid Torrenter myself,....i can't deny the landscape was affected by it. There's just no real scene anymore, and the record store "in-stores" and lining up for the album was a perfect illustration of the change for the worse. Music, and metal in particular can benefit greatly from returning to that landscape by choice, and go back to real-world communication, not this fluffy fake online stuff. It seems like it's starting to shift a little back towards that recently though.

Well, doesn't look that great. Even with the 80-96 era behind ther backs, Still Arise, Chaos A.D. and Roots are percived to be the best albums. In the Post Max era only Dante got gold. So, alas, the band's Derrick Green era is pretty mediocre. Same with Soulfly, though - first few albums were good, but then Max was just repeating himself (and that wasn't a collaboration).

Well, doesn't look that great. Even with the 80-96 era behind ther backs, Still Arise, Chaos A.D. and Roots are percived to be the best albums. In the Post Max era only Dante got gold. So, alas, the band's Derrick Green era is pretty mediocre.
Same with Soulfly, though - first few albums were good, but then Max was just repeating himself (and that wasn't a collaboration).
