some advice i would give to you as a volleyball player myself is to start your approach from 13-14 feet off of the net. it seems like you start your approach at the 10 ft line and it is doesn’t give enough room to use your full vertical. (trust me it really helped when i was told this)
It depends if you are an explosive jumper or a more technique focused one

The first time I played volleyball was at a camp in the Florida keys, and the past couple of years I started to play competitively and it's been tons of fun. When I saw that you were getting into volleyball I was so stoked to see if you would post about it. Now that you have it's awesome to see how much fun you have playing the game. Volleyball is such a wholesome yet intense sport that I wish was not as slept on as it is. I hope your education is going well :)
