Not really. He has that slow dragging vibrato that many modern singers suffer from. I hear singers from the past and their vibrato is fast and flowing. Can someone knowledgeable of vocal training explain this?
As long as he’s killing it with Lerner and Loewe, I’d love to hear him sing “They Call the Wind Mariah” from Paint Your Wagon. It’ll probably never happen, but a gal can dream.
Saw Camelot earlier this week. Jordan is an extraordinary singer who combined power, emotion and dynamics in a way that tugs at your heart. It’s impossible not to capitulate before his voice and impressive stage presence. He literally became Lancelot. Jordan has renewed my faith in Broadway voices which are increasingly lacking in quality and range these days. A recording label should snatch him up quickly and release a solo album dedicated to the kind of music he sings better than anyone. Bravo.
This was the song from our wedding, love this song. We also played it at our three daughters wedding. This makes me cry, so many memories. What a fabulous voice.
I saw the revival and he was incredible as Lancelot after seeing him in My fair lady in 2018 As Freddy Hill and when they announce he was casted in Camelot I said that revival is in good hands such a powerhouse actor
@@bwaySHO Fact: before this revival came to Broadway this year I bought the original script from the original production starring Julie Andrews years ago
Jordan Donica has the sort of voice I haven't heard since the early 60s with Robert Goulet. He is truly magical.
he's also gorgeous! like, my god! (a perfect Lancelot choice)
Powerful and emotional voice.

This is the kind of voice and music that should return in a big way esp for the youth! so beautiful , rich and full of passion!
100%!!!
In my graduating class of 2022 at my conservatory I was the only male who was REALLY a baritone , and one that had a rich golden age sound at that
What a glorious voice!
Truly stunning
Holy shit. Saw him in My Fair Lady, SUCH a different part, but my god is he cleaning up those Lerner & Loewe love ballads 😭 he’s just perfect for this

I teared up three separate times during this number, both in the show two nights ago and just now watching this video. It breaks me. Bravo.

I had the pleasure to see him perform in Hamlet this April, so impressive. 👍👍😘
One of the best performers out there!
Having the privilege of watching him sing this while I sat in the front row was one of the greatest memories I've ever made.
I wish so badly to be able to afford to see this revival. He's the perfect Lance and I love him already!

@@zackstark24601 oo amazing!
wow
My thoughts exactly
I echo an earlier comment on here. Jordan has a unique voice that evokes the likes of Robert Goulet.
Can you tell me the name of the African American performer sitting behind Donica who plays Sir Lancelot when Donica is not doing the role? Thank you!
Holy smokes.
PLEASE TURN THE VOLUME UP ON THIS VIDEO WHOEVER POSTED THIS YOU CAN BARELY HEAR IT
Wow. Who are you? Amazing.
Wonderful. Sounds like Robert goulet
That voice took me back to a time when there was no distinction between woman and men
Is he seeing any one in particular? 💗
Please upload cest moi and what do the simple folk do
I uploaded the 3 songs they did for press day!
I discovered this musical thanks to Homer Simpson
Has a lot to learn about singing legato and connecting phrases. All very disconnected.
If you sing ,,,, get some coaching!
the way the cast is looking at him🥹
