You could also have like a little bear holding a small picture frame with a favorite pic of a couple, or a new mom w/baby, wedding pic, etc., in one hand, arm around the Coke w/the other hand/arm. You could use any drink, depending on what the gift receiver’s fav. drink is, or maybe something diet/sugar-free if the person is diabetic! You could wrap the gifts in shrink wrap if you wanted to make sure the candy didn’t fall off. Just a few thoughts.
We made these years ago. We used a ice cream sundae dish. You put candy in the glass dish and then glue the styrofoam ball on top. Then add candy to the ball. Once finished we added a couple of straws.
Love this! To help with the flatness on the top at the end you could glue an embellishment at the top to celebrate the occasion; Rabbit or Carrot for Easter; Balloon for Birthday, etc.
This is such a cute idea! And since you uploaded this on my son's bday, I'll take that as a sign that I need to make them for his movie night themed party. Thanks for sharing!
Adrienne McMillan You could use the sodas, or you could always take empty soda bottles, wash them very well, & fill them with M&M’s, Skittles, or Reese’s Pieces. Obv., you couldn’t sell those, & they wouldn’t be good to hand out to just anyone, but for your son or family, they’d love them!
I just came across this and love this idea! Especially w Valentine's day just around the corner! Every year I try to do something different from the last for all my girls (4 daughters) and I definitely think I'm going to do this for them this yr! Thanks for the awesome idea! My husband is even over here saying he wants one too lol
Great idea for all occasions, from Birthays,Graduation, Christmas,Valetine Day and Teacher Appreciation Day etc. Great video and tips, Like this alot, Thank For Sharing!!!!!!
Would be a fun, inexpensive gift to use for a year-long “Secret Pal” type thing. Use your pal’s fav. drinks/snacks, colors, etc., maybe for a Friday, special day, cheer-up idea, just to say “hello, thinking about you, hope you have a great day!”
Best soda candy bouquet I’ve seen so far. They are all very pretty but I’m gravitating towards the bubble gum one more for some reason. But like them all.
I did something similar years ago. I covered the foam balls with a fabric. That way the balls were reusable and could be decorated for different themes. Those foam balls are expensive in Hawaii.
Charge clients to buy the supplies.either a flat price list for candy/pop and you pick it up or have them supply you the edibles. You supply ribbons, glue, foam, tissue and design time etc.. Allow them to choose how full/big they want it to be and then charge a flat rate for your service. Ie. Small $20 Big $30 etc.. This also allows you to not be responsible for selling food and the buyer doesnt see it as a extremely high cost for service.. they actually see how much the materials are costing. Thank you for sharing. New subie here 🖐
Also try a flower pot with styrofoam inside and use some khabob sticks to insert styrofoam. Hot glue 2 glitter heart shapes on both sides of the stick and hot glue red fruity candy to the hearts. Sit a small bear with a heart onto pot and add shredded paper for grass like look. I make about 15 to 20 these every year and sell out. Great hustle!
I was thinking of covering the coke with glitter tissue or a shiny/colorful something. Then after painting the foam ball stick a skewer stick in the ball to do another layer. Depending on the length of the stick I may have room for bow on top. I think doing rustic would look good.Skewer stick with Raffia an that tan cording. Its a fresh thought but I need to put on paper.just trying to think of other things to do.
Great Idea I just wouldn't recommend this for a kiddo :) I thought about showing that but was worried someone would do that for a kiddo Danger scares me lol
Straight pins and food are not smart imo the reason it won't tear the candy wrappers is because technically glue doesnt adhere very well to foam so it should be ble to pull off fairly easy. This is the same technique we use at the floral shop.
How did you make the whole video without eating like half the bag , snickers and kit kats (I would have totally caved, lol) creative and awesome idea! 😊
Thank you so much yes I have made smarties, laffy taffy, all the same size chocolates you can think of lol.. Now if you mean mixing candy on one ball I have not tried that. as long as they are the same size it will look adorable :)
I'm thinking Christmas.. with a styrofoam cone on top.. green candies of some sort.. what a great video, soo cute, who wouldn't love getting one of these :D
You are so creative and such a great teacher. If I had something I wanted to learn to do I would get them to teach it to you so you could teach it to me.
Great idea and relatively inexpensive gift for coworkers. Like all of your examples, mixing the candy would also be an idea to try with the larger candy towards the bottom and smaller towards the top. TFS
These are great idea's. I can't wait to try to try them. On the snickers couldn't you put red hearts stickers on those white tabs? The white would drive me crazy too. lol
I have a question on your photo transfer to wood... instead of cricut couldn't you just add the lettering by editing the photo on the cumputer before ink jet printing?
For travel/delivery purposes, go to your local liquor store & ask for empty wine case boxes. The inside of the box is like a tic tac toe board, so there is a "block" for each bottle to fit into.
Nikki 4H They make labels you can personalize w/a computer and printer for all kinds of things. Some can be found in any office store label section, or there are customized labels for things like water bottles & candy bars in wedding supply stores (look in a bridal book where they sell favors, or in a craft store like A.C. Moore, Michael’s, or Hobby Lobby). You could do them in wedding colors, a favorite team’s colors, a college/hs colors, etc.
This is super cute, adding like a little bear🐻 to hug the drink what would make this perfect for Valentine's day 💕..
Daylain Jones great idea 💡
I like that idea
Awesome idea! 🐻 💗
Daylain Jones great idea 👍

Instead of putting in more candy to fill the gaps you could always use green tissue paper to make it look like leaves.
We made these years ago. We used a ice cream sundae dish. You put candy in the glass dish and then glue the styrofoam ball on top. Then add candy to the ball. Once finished we added a couple of straws.
Love this idea ❤️🤩 thanks for sharing

YES!! That’s exactly what i was thinking too!!
OMGI love this idea. I think I will do this with a bottle of liquor for Christmas with a little Santa hugging the bottle. You did a beautiful job btw.
Sooooooooo......cute...... I've never seen this before.....I now have gifts for my staff for valentine's day!
This is such a cute idea! And since you uploaded this on my son's bday, I'll take that as a sign that I need to make them for his movie night themed party. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Happy Birthday to your son :)
Party favors!!

I loved this idea! I made one tonight for our Valentine's day raffle. I used a 6" ball with a 1ltr bottle of coke. Thanks for the idea!
awesome I love it :)
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat we raised $45 today on our raffle! Thanks again!
@@mcferrari59 That is amazing Yay!!! Your welcome and thank you for sharing
A pineapple corer might be the perfect t size to cut the whole on the styrofoam ball.
Instead of adding the ribbon to the top you should put it around the collar of the bottle I think it'll look better
Great Idea :)
me to if u do candy all over the ball
Dawn Lewis I don’t understand. Am I covering the bottle with tissues?
These are so cute! Thank you for sharing how to build these. I am going to do these for all my kids and grandkids at Christmas.
YIKES!!! The sound of cutting the styrofoam...had to mute! Cute
Sorry didn't think that through lol
i might use a 2 liter bottle. these are nice.
These are so cute!!! Tissue paper would be cute to wrap around the bottle and artificial flowers at the top middle.. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much and that is such a great idea and your so welcome
Love these did thirty for our youth at church, I agree more candy is much better thanks for sharing 💕
WOW!!! I bet everyone loved them. Way to go!!!
I can't believe how quick you made these! Super cute!
This is sooooo cool
I cannot wait to do this for valentines
I love these so much. I'm going to use the bottles from dollar tree with my string of lights inside
Gina E what a great ideas 💡 that’s going to be so cute
becareful empty bottles will easily tip over with the weight of the candy, been their, done that!
You could put marbles or something to weight the jar.
Great idea for all occasions, from Birthays,Graduation, Christmas,Valetine Day and Teacher Appreciation Day etc.
Great video and tips, Like this alot, Thank For Sharing!!!!!!
Thank you so much and your super welcome I hope you enjoy making them :)

Laffey taffy would look cool to
Floyd Staats I think so too.
Best soda candy bouquet I’ve seen so far. They are all very pretty but I’m gravitating towards the bubble gum one more for some reason. But like them all.
Thanks for posting this..I tried it with coke and Snickers.Good video.
Very cute, I would suggest trying round bubble gum balls at the top. Ribbon takes away from the bubble gum.
Just curious but why are you weighing them? IMO I Think they look better without the bow.
wow... these are great... one thing though, how do you open the bottle?... thank you for your tutorial...
The foam ball will come off :)
I did something similar years ago. I covered the foam balls with a fabric. That way the balls were reusable and could be decorated for different themes. Those foam balls are expensive in Hawaii.
They are expensive here as well what a great idea thank you for sharing ❤️

These are awesome! But I think a stuffed animal hugging the bottle would be cute and using the heart picks from dollar tree would be cute.
Super cute, was the glue hot or low heat? I tried the glue and it stuck to the wrapper.
You can also use straight pins instead of hot glue then you paper doesn't tear when you want to eat one

My thoughts exactly.😂🤣
So darn cute. Such possibility.USA, if you sold them , how much would you charge?
Definitely doing these. How much would you sell these for ?
Super cute !! My favorite is the snickers one !! I looooove snickers !!!
This really an adorable idea. Have you tried using different types of candy on them to get more of a variety of candy?
Thank you so much yes I have made smarties, laffy taffy, all the same size chocolates you can think of lol.. Now if you mean mixing candy on one ball I have not tried that. as long as they are the same size it will look adorable :)
It's so cute I am going to try it for easter.for my grandkids thank you for sharing it ❤️😘❤️😘
I’m going to totally try this, and I hope it come out as beautiful as yours
Yay!! so glad your going to try this I know its going to come out Beautiful let me know how it goes
I have also made them on Coke glasses or vases. Put candy inside them before gluing on the foam ball
oh that sound super cute what a great idea ;)
I'm thinking Christmas.. with a styrofoam cone on top.. green candies of some sort.. what a great video, soo cute, who wouldn't love getting one of these :D

+Carmen Gonzales--- and some cute mini ornaments for the tree, oo-ooh!
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat will this work with a smooth foam ball? I can't find the styrofoam balls 🙄.😕

awww Thank you for this :)
Are there easy to open or you have too eat all the candy first ? 🤔
Jennifer Cruz you can actually pop the ball on and off while you drink your soda
I like how you did that because it looks like a tree or fireworks which is very uniquely nice and cute these are good ideas of miniature gift ideas
Very nice thanks for sharing if you were to sell these how much would you sell them for
$25-$30 EACH
You could wrap the Shiny wrapping wrapping paper to wrap the bottle up kinds like a vase ...
love this idea that would be adorable

I love this where did you get that long glue stick
How do you drink the soda take tbe ball off and does tje candy fall offhow much do you chzrge. For tbem
cute I'm about to make some for my daughter cheer team 📣🎀
Thank you they are going to love them
All are beautiful but the pink and red kit kat one sealed the deal
You are very creative. How much do you charge?
Would this work by mixing different candy
Can you do this using mini herseys or a candy bar without the flap?
Those candy cokes are pretty very nice work.
Sooooo Fun!! These Are Just Adorable and Sooooo Fun and So Pretty!
Good job!!!! where you get that long glue stick from
That Coca-Cola bottle with a bubble gums is really cute I love that just saying🦋💕
All three are darling!! You did a great job!!
So cool! Kids will love this.
Thank you so much
I'm gonna make these for my coworkers. Very good idea! Thank you
Your so welcome Im so excited to hear that! Your going to have so very happy coworkers :)
I wonder if you can do like a three layer on there. Could that work also? Or even a two layer for candy and gum? 😁
I can't wait to try this for my cheer girls!! I love this idea!!
That would be adorable love this
I can’t wait to try this for the kids for vday. Thank you for sharing.
could you use straight pins instead of hot glue?
yes my sister did this I just wouldn't recommend it to a kid just incase
awesome gift idea. Thanks for all your hard work.
Love these. Definitely will be adding these to my candy bouquets I make. Can you add Reese’s cups? The small bite size ones that is?
I just came across this video and these are soooo stinkin cute! I will definitely be making these for my sons 11th birthday coming up! ❤❤
Thank you so much!! 😊 Your son will love it 😍
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat I think he will too! ❤️
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat thank you for the idea!! I just wish we could post pics so I can show you what I made :)
Can I spray paint the ball?
I have done this before in gold but be carful as it can melt the ball
What would it look like with the bow under the chocolate on the bottle.
These are great idea's. I can't wait to try to try them. On the snickers couldn't you put red hearts stickers on those white tabs? The white would drive me crazy too. lol
I actually discovered after the fact that all I needed to do was flip the flap over lol I about died lol
How much do you sell them for? Trying to come up with a price for mine. Very cool idea! Thanks 😊
I sold mine for $20 -$25
I really love this cradt i cant wait to make these for people dor the valentines day
I’m so happy to hear you’re going to make these :) your going to have some happy people
Take tissue and fringe it... drape it around the underside it will totally hide the foam and make it look fuller too.
These are so cute, will be making them for my co-workers.
Love it! How much should you charge for these? Thanks.
I would charge $20 - $25 and even up to $30 hope this helps
Thanks
How do you take tbe ball off without the candy off i made one for Easter it came lutgreat
How can you drink the coke if you put that on there but the glue and stuff will it the bottle still open if somebody wanted to drink the coke
you can pop the ball off or if you twist the ball you can keep the ball attached to the lid :)
i think so cause glue is only on top of lid
Hot glue comes apart easily
I have a question on your photo transfer to wood... instead of cricut couldn't you just add the lettering by editing the photo on the cumputer before ink jet printing?
thank you for sharing very simple instructions super cute
Your welcome Thank you for watching :) Have a great day!

Yeah, great idea... Thanks.
What would u sell them for
I love this idea. However not to find of the soda showing. Do u think I can wrap the soda in gift tissue paper?
yes I have done that as well and it came out super cute
i can't seem to find it. Can you send me the link if you don't mind.
Awww so pretty and creative. Thanks so much for the tutorial. I am going to have to try these. I hope I don't burn my fingers off lol
you can use a popsicle stick to press them down :)
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat oh okay thanks for the tip
I love the kit cat one
I used styrofoam cups when I did mine. Saved a little on the balls especially when you are doing a lot.
so smart thanks for sharing
I didn't know you could use the styrofoam cups for the plastic bottles . I saw someone use cups for the can drinks and it blew my mind.
For travel/delivery purposes, go to your local liquor store & ask for empty wine case boxes. The inside of the box is like a tic tac toe board, so there is a "block" for each bottle to fit into.
Can you still open the coke to drink, Maybe you can use water bottles also
Awesome idea and thank you for the detailed and easy to follow instructions

Thanks
Whats a good price to charge for the candy bar ones??
What a cute idea.I love them can't what to make one.So cool!!
If you use a two liter bottle what size ball would you recommend using?
I think I would stick with using the 4" ball as they are quite big but if you do move up in size I would just go 1" bigger :) hope this helps
