Thanks so much for the great video! Just got my own ice maker and your video is a lot easier for me to understand than the instructions it came with! Lol
Was going to purchase until I realized it doesn't have a freezer, so you have to take the ice out and put it in the freezer. We have had some very warm days, I had an Igloo the ice melted. Paid a litter more just purchased Euhomey Clear Ice Maker, has freezer.
We picked up the Costway 48lb per day model for our fifth wheel. We like that it makes the square cubes and makes 48 cubes per cycle. Got to have lots of ice for the summer and the college football season.
Yeah it didn't cross my mind on getting something like that. It's something that I will be purchasing. Thanks for the review

Nice video! Does the basket hold enough ice to completely fill three 30 ounce tumblers?

How did that ice maker word out for you?
@@TheRealPoPorter It’s great! I use it multiple times a day.. It makes ice very quickly (5-10 minutes). I’ll never go back to ice trays.
@@robincobb8611 Nice!!! I’m thinkin of purchasing one on eBay as I’m laying in my bed lol I have one more question after the ice is made does this ice maker keep the ice frozen or you gotta use the ice immediately before it melts
@@TheRealPoPorter The ice will just sit in basket until it melts and falls back to the bottom or you use it. I don’t mind it because I use it so much. I often have to refill with water. It takes up to a gallon from empty.
What is the capacity of the the ice basket. (After ice is produced, how many pounds will the basket hold before the machine registers as full and stops making ice?)
Is it suitable with 220v ?
Could you describe the self-cleaning feature? Do you turn it on with water in the ice maker? Should the ice maker be dry? I'm not sure how it can clean it. Thanks.
I can answer my own question now that I've used the ice maker several times. lol Put some water in the ice maker. In the self-cleaning function, the machine runs through the cycle of making ice several times but doesn't freeze the water. The next time I use the self-cleaning function I'll add a little bit of vinegar to the water, then redo it with some fresh water to rinse the vinegar out. Love this machine!
Great video buddy keep it up? But I have one question after it makes the ice does the ice maker keeps the cubes frozen or you have to use them instantly or they will melt?
Yes, it fills the basket, then keeps them frozen for you. When you use some from the filled basket, it will make more to keep it topped off. Thanks for watching! -Todd

I just found this model at A outlet sale for 50$. Needless to say I now have a ice maker
got a 48lb costway ice maker worked great for a long time but just quit pumping water , what went wrong and how can i fix it
Charles, you didn't get the "Ice-Ice-Baby" Ice Maker . . . LOL. Just kidding. Sorry for your issues. We haven't had any issues yet, like you are describing. This has to be aggravating, because - I know we ALWAYS use our Ice-Maker . . . and rely on it! Try to search for the owners manual....maybe it will have your issue addressed in the "Trouble-Shooting" section. Best of Luck to you and thank you for Watching! -Todd

DO YOU USE ANY KIND WATER OR SHOULD USE BOTTLE
I try to use the water from my refrigerator dispenser (it's filtered). But on occasion I have used tap water. -Todd
