- Before sterilising, it is important to clean all your baby bottles thoroughly. This is best achieved with warm soapy water and a Bottle Brush or by placing them on the top rack of a dishwasher, on a warm cycle, avoiding strong coloured foods. Be sure to clean all bottle components, including teats and lids, ensuring all traces of milk are removed. For best results, this process is best completed as soon after a feed as possible to avoid giving the milk chance to dry. Once cleaning is completed, rinse off all detergent carefully. You should also wipe down worktops and surfaces and clean your hands thoroughly before proceeding to the sterilisation phase.
This Electric Steam Steriliser is really easy to use. Just add 80ml of filtered water and push the single button - it’ll glow orange when you switch it on and goes off five minutes later when the cycle is finished. Give it three minutes to cool down and you’re good to go.
Remember to empty the water each use and. Check out my how to descale the Tommee tippee steriliser video

@@nicolesurphlis1558 they are good when I had that one kept the bottle sterile and less mess if you have a good routine with it washing bottles all the time was a headache 😂
First time parents here, baby due in 2 months. You made sterilising look easy. Many videos are unclear and confusing and I could never understand if you need to dry the bottles and how. Also I didn’t understand if the bottles needed to stay in the steriliser until needed or if could take a bottle at the time. You made me understand this process in just few minutes. Taking all the bottle out all at once makes sense! Thank you! thank you! thank you!
No problem at all I had the same issue at first

I like how you mentioned to place the lids on the 3 grooves to let the steam pass around both lids. This strangely isn't mentioned on the TT Video and in one video I watched the woman pushed the cap down tight BEFORE sterilising.

very helpfull I just got this kit yesterday and your video was really helpful can I please tell me how to clean sterlizer regularly?
Hi i havent finished editing it but it is simple get some kettle descal fluid in most super markets and add it to the steriliser it will bubble and fizz leave it for half an hour and then fill the steriliser with water it will remove the film on the heat pad after just rinse it with water and do two normal serilisations before use it will stop your bottles from going a yellow colour
New video is now avalible to watch on how to clean the steriliser
hi there. when it is time to use those bottles, how do you dry them? i use a clean cloth but there must be a better way after such deep cleaning.
Tae Lim yeah I was thinking the same thing? Can you just dry them with a clean cloth?
what should u do about the condensation in the bottles ect
+Rob Wakefield theres not a lot you can do once the steriliser has sterilised that condensation is clean steamed water i just drained the best i could and sealed the bottles up so they stay sterile
hi we have just purchased a tommee tippee
once the sterilising is done the bottle are not dry how should we dry them cause if left they will go mouldy ?
thanks
+zak Fritz it only keeps them sterile for 24 hours which is more than enough time to get through the bottles if left for long periods just dry them normally but re sterilise when using again
+zak Fritz they are sterile with liquid in for 24 hours i used to just shake liquid out before use
