Did some of this route used to be a heavy rail route? A fair bit of the early section of the route kinda gives the impression that it used to be bheavy rail at one time

Whenever the doors are unlocked and opened, the mirror folds out as well. Whenever the doors are closed and secured, you hear the bell and the mirrors fold back in. Also, it is possible to manually use the mirrors with a button. But, not recommended while driving. They've lost a mirror or two that way.
