    I've had the opportunity to meet and speak to Chael Sonnen in Portland, OR a few times... he is one of the most kind and gracious people you could ever meet. I like to face it head on and feel it instead of avoid it! 4 loved ones have died in the last year. Two of which I was holding during their last breath! Watching my dad die was Traumatizing but I am grateful he passed without pain! I do not know you, but we are all family! I got cha if you need me!

    It was ALWAYS a pleasure to watch Chael promote his fights and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him fight. I come from a wrestling background and I always root for the wrestler and Chael was a great ambassador for all wrestlers who transitioned into MMA. I will miss watching you compete in MMA. Enjoy your retirement...it is well deserved!!!       he was a champion. not on paper but he won a title fight only that his opponent missed weight, its not his fault, he did all he could he acepted the fight still and won.

    Your dad is proud of you Chael. You had no easy fights, specially the ones for the title. You always made the walk. Plus, you were a champion at making dull aspects of mma as interesting as the fight itself. Everytime you were scheduled to fught we knew its was gonna be good from the build up to the post fight interview. So many champions were quickly forgotten, but you won mma fans hearts forever.
