What’s your favorite Transformers movie?
It was Dark of the Moon and now it’s Transformers One what a movie. If we’re talking about all the movies TFP Beast Hunters movie was my favorite but this movie is on top.
The 86 film... if you haven't seen it you really should... its a perfect sequel to this. Also i agree... bumblebee was annoying to a point it was cringeworthy... when he kept doing the badassatron thing i was literally palmfacing (also makes 0 sense as all transformers ending with 'on' are decepticons). it was so out of character for him and hes the one character none of the modern movies seem to be able to get right.. (from his original cartoon/comic character) at all.

I just watched it and it was awsome.
It has something for every transformers fan, no matter which continuity you grew up with (except the Bay movies, it feels like they try to consciously distance themselves from those films)
I especilly love that they take the best lore elements from a lots of different continuities, and they create their own world/story from it. For ex, the low class mining bot Megatron origin came from the IDW comics series (best iteration of Megatron of all time) Orion's/Megatron's deep friendship reminds me of their Aligned continuity brotherhood. Sentinel was inspired by his TFA counterpart. The story element with the t-cogs, and the Quintessons are from G1. Starscream's backstory is very heavily influnced by his Alligned continuity origins, where he worked for Sentinel, and left the false Prime behind (with his seekers) after he lost his respect for him. Orion being a book nerd, and spending his time in the Archives to figure out what is wrong with Cybertron and how to fix it also reminds me of his Trtansformers Prime/Aligned continuity counterpart. Not to mention the music composer of this movie was the same guy who made the music of Transformers Prime.
They managed to do what most modern reboots/legacy films accont. They showed respect for what came before, and built on it instead of trying to tear it down.
8.5....that's short, this is a 10 out flipping 10, I was gripping to my seat almost glued, I already have seen it TWICE and definitely will go for the third next week, I hardly can't wait to this movie actually open in US, so all Transformers fans experience having the quality of the TV ANIMATED SHOWS.....in an actual GOOD DAMN MOVIE, we waited so damn long for a true masterpiece with these characters and finally happen. BEST HANDS DOWN TF movie of them all.
I don't know about masterpiece (at least for me). The jokes in the first act with B did not always land other than that....it was an amazing experience with one of the best third acts this year of 2024!
I'm glad you loved it and I will agree with you that this is the BEST Transformers movie!
I came into this thinking this will be a funny comedy for my kids and I was AMAZED!!! This was for US all of US if you grew up with any version of Transformers!!! Do yourself a favor and watch it ASAP, with your friends or your children. You are in for a Surprise and stay for the post credit scene it's about 5 seconds but Totally worth it. Thank me later!!!

What D-16/Megatron did to Sentinel Prime is brutal by tearing up his body into pieces but to be honest he definately got what he deserved anyway since Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of this movie.

@@josephcurtisyt Oh, it had some flaws. B127´s jokes got annoying at times, and the naming system needed more explaining, and I wanted to see more of the 13 Primes. But all of that can be left for the sequels. Because holy Primus, I want more.

I would not give it less than a 9!!! It was EPIC. And I came in with no expectations. And left AMAZED!!!
probably a 10 for me, this is how you write a solid story line, great characters, funny moments and great action, ..shallow hollywood seemed to forgot this ages ago, this is best movie of the summer
