So nice to hear all of the language they share, when they are protecting their nest and eggs. It makes me think it is an older juvie since it looks like you can see the white on the back of the neck in one of the shots and white on the back of the head developing, but it could also have been the light.
This the the only nest I could watch right now. There are incidents excitement but no mishaps no heartbreaks, please keep it this way! perfect couple beautiful comfy nest impeccable instinct. Their eaglets are lucky and will do very well in life!
@JM-bv9sn. That is what I am praying for 🙏🏻. The farm is a great place for young eagles to grow up. I love that they have a pond to explore post fledge! 💜
Such brazen conduct from the sub eaglet! I wonder if M15, recognizes it as one of his own from time past? If not, it's F23 who will rise up and get rid of the intruder!
The merry go round of visitor eagles continues. This one was quite bold and didn’t take the hint the first time around. As usual F23 and M15 work together to flush eagle 🦅
Ooooh what an intense video. That sub-adult is clearly sticking around and not taking the move on warnings seriously. Good that M15 & F23 protected the nest and precious eggs so well. It has been a busy week for sub-adults in this area Thank you Androcat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@diane9501. YW 🙂. It has been busy for M15 and F23. We need to have a check in station for these youngsters, so we can get ID photos and inquire which nest they hail from. 😉
M15's face while on watch duties 🤣🤣🤣. Ah, maybe the young visitor is nostalgic of nesting days... I wonder whether any fledglings from Captiva Island have visited, in the past, or fledglings from other Florida nests with cams, for that matter! 😀
@Luceforall. M15’s face 🥰! I am sure some go back to their natal areas. If we could only know! I do the math every time, wondering IF it came from this nest, which one could it be 😊. Unlike Channel Islands, we just don’t know. Unless E8 shows up, of course. 💙
@@androcat12 Yes, juvies are known to visit their natal area and I heard, once, that they tend to settle within a hundred miles. A most endearing instance is that of Samson in North East Florida, who took over the nest abandoned by his parents, Romeo and Juliet. We won't be sure about future generations in the CI, though - Thunder's offspring did not get banded.
@Luceforall. Yes, I am familiar with it. Decorah has some interesting tracking with telemetry info, and we have a limited scope study starting here actually. 💙
Tysvm Androcat for this dramatic video! M15 and F23 have become a formidable couple 🤗 Wonderful to see! It's normal for the female to protect, especially if it's another female, and male to male. M15 did his job brilliantly, of course he is a pro 🦅 ❤️ This partnership is absolutely beautiful 🥰 Well done F23 and M15 🦅🦅❤️❤️
Hello Dear friend Tigress 🥰🌹❤️ Great comment and totally agree 🦅....I hope your keeping well and safe my friend 🙏🤗 The Storms are pretty bad this weekend, Keep warm sending you love and hugs , I hope your weekend is blessed my friend take care 🤗🙏🦅❤️🌹🥰💕😇
@tigress5263. YW 🙂. It is wonderful to see the strong partnership they have developed. The male/male and female/female is a general rule, due to the female’s size. As you can see here, both flushed this subadult. I am happy the flush was easy, and there was no chase. Safe travels, young eagle. 🙏🏻💙
@@serapmehmet3346 My dear friend Serap 🤗💖 I am doing well and hope that you are also 🥰 I truly love the bond M15 and F23 have built, it's just beautiful to see 💕💞 Hope you are having a great weekend my friend, stay safe and warm. Sending you love and big hugs 🤗❤️ Take care and I wish you a wonderful week 😘🤗💞❤️❤️
Notes: The views do not allow for proper aging of this intruder. This appears to be a subadult, not a juvie or adult, based on the limited views. There is no way to know if this is the same intruder as 11-17-24. (Links for 11-17/11-18-24: ua-cam.com/video/2cakc8Kls38/v-deo.htmlsi=O9mxU_LcBK3ruKUB ; ua-cam.com/video/6XnPU3KuSJE/v-deo.htmlsi=qeuClXBCoF-zo9dy ) There is no way to determine if this intruder is from this nest. I am local to SWFL, and in Florida, we have 1500+ nests. That averages to 2K +/- fledglings each season, as I have posted previously. Also, this area has a dense population. Each season, we see juvenile and subadult eagles stop in here.
Thankyou so much Androcat ❤for the info and link , Always thinking of the safety of all the Eagles ..they are all precious, Very Thankful M15, F23 And eggs are all OK ❤❤❤❤🙏
Serap Mehmet. YW 🙂. A friend’s brother lives by the nest, and he has been seeing a lot of them in the area. Normal for this area, of course, with the river and all the ponds. 🦅💜🦅
Such trust and confidence M15 and F23 have in one another. Working together to protect their precious eggs. F23 is impressive isn’t she? “You stay M; I’ll take care of this bold intruder”. Such dedication on both their parts. Thank you so very much Androcat. 💙🦅🦅💙
@PriscillaD225. YW 🙂. With M15 already in place protecting the eggs, it was definitely best for F23 to flush the intruder. Yes, F23 is impressive, and I have been a fan of hers ever since I watched her guard the territory her first summer. 💙🦅🦅💙
@PriscillaD225. It’s a cell tower. It belongs to the neighboring eagle pair when they are in territory. We don’t usually see the neighboring pair during the summer. Good memory. 🙂

@dianemcgill5569. I took a bunch of screenshots too. A couple did show a lot of white in the tail feathers, with little terminal band left. 🤷♀️🙂
This young eagle is so stubborn.
Thanks a lot for your information and your video!❤
Such great teamwork from these 2. They make a formidable couple. M chose well. Thanks Androcat for all the info, too❤

@pumpupjam9648. It’s normal behavior for young eagles to perch with others. This one sure wanted to roost here lol.
I still think that's one of M15 clutches from before..just paying a visit..
@kimsmith6469. Could be, we just cannot tell. I see them all over the place, and they are not all M15’s, obviously. I wish we could know. 🦅🦅
Me too!!

@SusanClark-ig3rm. YW 🙂. The 1500+ nests is for the entire state of FL, not just this area. 🦅🦅

The juvies are just hoping for daddy door-dash extras. 😅❤ not unheard of for grown children coming by univited to raid the fridge.
