So heartbreaking, as a mom of two, male & female, young adults, both in their 20's, it's definitely not easy being a young parent, at times I think and ask myself "Was I extremely strict and overprotective with my kids?" But when I see cases like this one, I feel extremely proud of how I raised them being young too. I'll forever be grateful to God for giving me the wisdom to educate and constantly remind them to listen to my advices and not disobey me, to not rush into living their life and live it second by second as time goes by because time never comes back. Life is one second, we never know which is our last one. Time & life are two of the most valuable things we are blessed to have, despite the tough, sad & down moments we endure at times but nothing lastes forever, everything has it's end. May God continues to bless Mac with two of the most important things that are health & life, thank you Sir, may God also multiply your finances abundantly for your generosity.
This is a huge loss for Ms. Lexy. Houstonians must really be having a hard time going through this time losing a young 12 year old in Jocelyn. Words of Love and Comfort cannot compare with the pain that family members have to go through. So now, the healing process begins. Lifting up Joclyn's family in prayer for healing starts now. This is not a celebration of life meeting, don't really know what it is but it's not a celebration of life. Also why are they still asking for money, absolutely everything has been paid for, the family have not had to pay for a thing. Money being raised now could go to a charity to help local children etc to teach them the dangers of what can happen.
Maybe to help the family take time off work to be at the trials of the murderers, and to help the mom move, I imagine she wants out of that neighborhood.
The family is very poor and any support right now is a blessing don't you see that, and I am sure Alexis wouldn't want to remain living in the same complex as the murderers family and friends live

Maybe, the family is too traumatized to speak in public. The family may have asked someone to speak on their behalf. A prayer and a few kind words on behalf of the deceased fulfills the basic ceremony.
