My top three, go-to, female vocalist, singer/songwriters for the past thirty years have been Aimee Mann, Margo Timmins (Cowboy Junkies) and Alison Krauss (Union Station). All three of these women have exhibited extraordinary talent, passion for their craft, song writing ability and, heart wrenching vocals that contemporary artist today should envy and strive to emulate. Would love to see all of them perform together. Grace and blessings to all.
A beautiful tune whose melody reminds me a tad of Sheryl Crow's 1996 ballad "Home." Interestingly, Crow once remarked that Aimee Mann was one of her favorite artists. I'm with you, Sheryl. :)
