With hotshot and determined on the model 700, don't have to worry about the long reload. Model 700 all day. I play on PC, so the slight sway on the model 700 compared to the SR-1 is not a big deal at all. The model 700 has replaced the white death on my build.
WOW!!! Fairly new Agent here. I was looking for an in-depth look exactly like your video! Trying to build a class around each weapon type, so your content will help me a ton, thank you! 🔥
I used to have White Deaths on my characters, then I farmed for Model 700s, it was super nice to hit bigger numbers but eventually I hated the reload, I always liked the M700 Carbon aestethics so that was my next farm, I loved it, I still oneshot heroic bosses with most of the head hunter and hotshot buffs and it is so nice to use, great video thank you so much!
I just found you because someone shouted you out over on reddit wow good stuff man! I haven't seen someone dive into the numbers like this since Marco's Division 1 coverage. Thanks for doing this kinda work and sharing it!
I really like the m700 carbon. It has almost zero sway like the sr-1 but the extra reload speed is very nice. Used it on 4 person legendary. And it one shot basically everything. And what it couldn’t the nemesis did.
The Carbon is criminally underrated for Hot Shot Determined imo. youre already basically 1 shotting everything fully stacked anyway, and the Carbon give a much better handling experience, bigger mag, and faster reloads, because despite whate people online say (especially when using spreadsheets for evidence) misses happen and Helmets exist.
@@Straata i completely agree, just did a 4 person legendary DUA, with my carbon and 3pc hotshot, chain killer, the gift and headshot dmg foxes. Had 137 kills. One shot everything no issues. Switched to the nemesis and 2 shot the chungas. The handling and the long rail on the carbon is what makes it shine. 1.7sec reloads baby! No need for the 4pc hotshot.
Thanks for the great analysis iKia. Awesome work as always. Would you recommend a separate MMR with the third attribute health damage for pesky chunga helmets?
Great video! Love to see when someone does the math for sniping, since a lot of people still don't fully understand how Headhunter works. It was also nice to get the perspective of the new damage changes in a Solo Heroic difficulty context, since I only ever really play Legendary 4-man, or solo speed runs, so it's sometimes hard to help out the clan members who are playing in Heroic.
there are three different weapons with similar names, the model 700, the m700 carbon and the m700 tactical. the model 700 is the old looking one that is not magazine fed, and that is the one that is the hardest hitter nowadays, the m700 carbon and m700 tactical are similar to eachother, with the big difference between the two being that the m700 tactical cannot use most underbarrels that you would want to use on a sniper like accuracy or stability. the carbon is useable, the tactical isn't really, but both of these are also inferior to the SR-1 so the model 700 is the only one of that bunch that has a clear purpose as being the top dmg but at the cost of the reload, and then the sr-1 gives up a little damage for a mag reload and more acc/stab with mods, the m700carbon and tactical shouldn't really be used over a sr-1.
Made me a little sad you said "white death is very much the old king". Im still trying to get that hasburg backpack, but i have a question. For 4 man legendary, is 2 hasburg - hotshot a good option? 32 million can probably oneshot almost any legendary npc, right?
The one thing I don't get with the Hotshot + Determined build is: the damage seems somewhat inconsistant - especially on the first shot. I have the Headhunter & Airaldi (Vigi) variant, SR-1 on grade 20 or Model 700 on 15 (+ DToC) etc., all red, all HS, everything maxed - but still it happens from time to time (I feel more so in NY) that I cannot even kill a red or purple with the first headshot, but it survives with a slither of health. I don't get it. Tested up and down in the range as well, can't reproduce it there... and mind you, all of this solo! No group! And no event active.
Great video I saw it live, your doing amazing work for the community iKia, turned me into a huge fan of your content. My only question remaining from your review here is in regards to Vigilance, I feel like while it has the greatest affect on output damage how often does it stay proc since taking damage seems to make you lose it. It requires a more conservative playstyle for sure. Seeing as most around the community use the Hotshot, determined builds for grinding due to its speed of clearing, your bound to take damage playing aggressive. What would be second to vigilance if you were to replace it with the next best is my main question.
Red builds are really shoehorned into Vigilance, theres not really a great BP Talent alternative, running Memento and stacking it up fully is the only thing that can compete from a pure output persective.
For a Sniper build that doesn't seem like something that works all that well either. Which is why so many use the NinjaBike backpack which lets you stack more Headshot damage by allowing more brand sets and gear sets together.@@Straata
Yeah I just stumbled into that suggestion below. I would imagine it's a case of higher initial damage (or more stable vs Vigil) but lower peak damage. For how I play it, sounds like a nice tradeoff, but I'm using an M700C the way you would use a CM1A, definitely not a Longshot sniper style :P
If you got blue bonus armor from 4 pieces of hotshot you don't lose vigilance unless you take damage to your white armor. Unless this has recently changed.
I'll have to test this then, cause it felt a bit underwhelming when I tried it, I felt like Vigilance was active in the opening fight sequence for the first couple shots then went south quickly. perhaps its because I was using it on legendary mission and taking serious damage so the blue extra armor might have been getting burned. On Heroic this is too easy and I am sure this is the best setup for sure.@@syn80
Seriously. It grants the 4th hotshot, but it also provides an unconditional 30% weapon damage and 15% headshot. This is superior to vigilance. Even without the Araldi , using instead contractors , foxes, or picaros, that tier 2 Habsburg is great!
@@alexwise- yea I don’t think u know what ur talking about so well just say ur right the bonus from a piece of gear that’s not consistent and situational is better then multiple bonus that are constantly up. Great video and very informative. I'm waiting on the rifle video analysis.
Very informative analysis. I was trying to decide wht mmr to ise with my hotshot build and this helped a lot
Great work iKia!! Love your breakdown & explanation on each weapon class so far. Rifles will be 🔥 looking forward to it!!
Great vid and analysis iKia. Was waiting patiently for this one. Many thanks for the contribution you make to the community.

Hello, is there any difference between Model 700 and Model 700 tactic ?

Most of the time it's probably your vigilance bonus hasn't active yet.
Thanks for the Video, what MMR can you recomend for PVP?`Yellow! SR-1 ? with ranger? OR 700?
Good video, one page of summary and general recommendations would be really helpful

With 1 Habsburg and 1 Araldi with 3 hotshot, the ninja bag is actually worthwhile. Im shocked 😅

Yup ninjabike has seen a bit of a resurgence in general with the buffs to all the tier buffs on gear
lol what. Ninjabike bp is dogwater. You took a good build and made it worse with ninja, and convinced yourself that it’s better now
