My road tax on my Landrover diesal costs me £630 pa As a 74 year old pensioner I need my car on a daily basis as have mobility issues. If this scheme goes through I will have to pay £12-50 per day GREEN TAX /ULEZ or £87-50 per week just to drive down my own road to get a loaf of bread. I've had my car for 4 years and have £8k invested in it and they want me to scrap it. It ain't gonna happen
I've got a P38 Range Rover. 23 year old car. I don't understand why a 40 year old car is exempt when the reasons to drive a classic are exactly the same reasons why I drive my old Range Rover. It does very little to help the environment; if anything, the ULEZ and LTN initiatives have caused more issues for Londoners through greater traffic chaos, road closures which diverts more vehicles onto a smaller number of roads and penalising those who can't afford a 'greener' model. As house are sold around me I notice that more and more Londoners are moving this way and they say that London is becoming unaffordable for most people!

Hi I was looking at TFL website for ULEZ exemptions yesternight 29/01/23, and the page was not available and said they were to release new package/page on mid night 29th/30th i.e 00:01 30th When I checked early morning at 00:05 30th , new exemptions were there on the page with one of the item was offering 90% discounts to residents within the zone, I felt so relieved to see that, I didnt apply at that point, as I wanted to get the documents ready so this morning I went on the same page to apply for it with the relevant documents , they have taken that page down!! its removed!! Can I report this anywhere? thanks

He doesn’t really care about toxic air quality and here is why: - He has already made the toxic air far worse since he has introduced the LTN’s which have increased the toxic air on the main roads because we are forced to use them as there are no other alternatives, especially during rush hour. The roads are now grid locked with traffic moving at walking pace and the fumes are getting denser and not dispersing. LTN’s need to be reopened as it is causing more damage than good. Among all this, the mileage in vehicles has also increased due to the fact that we are forced to go the long way round to get to the required destination - all accumulating to even more emission being emitted! Bravo Sadiq & team. - The health for pedestrians and children as they walk along these main routes to get to stations, schools, shops is deteriorating. Even the drivers inhale more fumes when we are stuck in stationary traffic. This is really aggravating and makes no sense! - Cycle Lanes: Should not be taking up an extra lane of the roads, large pavements could be divided into two for cyclists. - The introductions of 20MPH roads are also a problem because emission fumes don’t disperse quickly and the air is getting even more polluted because of the need to drive in lower gears. Sadiq’s statement: “It is to reduce toxic air pollution” is clearly not accurate and is making matters worse. The situation is getting extremely out of hand and something needs to be done to stop him from ruining our climate even more.
