I'm on my 2nd playthrough (1st was 9 months ago, did it 100% over 3.5 very thorough months of daily play)... I was a little shocked this time to discover different npc's/slight interactions etc from my 1st playthrough... But, it just doesn't have the same graphic impact it has on me whilst playing for the 1st time... I suppose some people are happy to read the same book 17 times, but... It's not like that for me. It is however my all time favourite game (until something better comes along, but I just don't see that happening too soon). I'm my gaming opinion, it will only be bettered (possibly) by RDR3... But, it could also be too late/woke... Maybe Rockstar simply cannot behave like the true Rockstars they once were in this oh so namby-pamby world? And we may never see a game as impactful as this ever again. But, let's be positive, it is, after all... Only a game.

The decomposing thing doesn’t work in my game. Every time I go a little way across from where the bodies are they disappear in a matter of minutes, and if they’re still there by the time I get back they’re gone one when leave the state and come back
@@ewwdk1887 someone should tell my copy of the game that. it doesn’t seem to happen plus my copy of the game should be told, give me the last talk with Mary Beth and give me Tilly’s letter they never seem to spawn whatever I do. Red dead online updates really messed with it plus took some of the NPC dialogue out when I first got the game there was loads of unique NPC dialogue, like the one about the ghost in the swamp. Never had any of it again because of stupid rockstar and they’re stupid updates for red dead online
Yesterday i saw a Buck with his antlers stuck on another dead rival Buck on the ground till he got freed and ran away in the game which is kinda insane detail.
I was a little bummed hearing that rockstar wouldn’t make gta 6 this detailed but after almost 5 years of this game being out and there’s still new details being found, I don’t blame them, this game is an insanely rare treat and I doubt this much effort will be put into another one any time soon
Rockstar is aware of the hype surrounding Gta6, gta is also a more popular franchise than rdr, and it will be on next gen. Why would it be less detailed? I tried to search for what you say here, I couldn’t find anything stating it wouldn’t be as detailed as their previous game

I just played it today after long days and I found another new encounter I've never seen been playing the game since 2021 but still I m discovering new things in rdr2 I think there are endless encounters and Easter eggs in this game it's just like real life well made
I noticed when making a corpse decompose and watching it i saw a group of 3 coyotes work together. 2 will guard the corpse and the other 1 will eat and then the one who ate will guard and the guard who guardrd would eat etc. And when any other animal comes you can see it watch them and wait for the coyotes to quit. Sometimes the other animal (mostly a fox) will slowly approach but will be scared by the coyotes.

I don’t know if it is useful or not but you will probably get it once you play. I have gotten the platinum achievement so you could ask me anything you like!

With the NPCs decomposing thing... Surely you have to remain in the vicinity for that to happen otherwise their bodies will just despawn? Or do the bodies remain there for the rest of the game?

i think it only works when the body is away from places that other NPCs pass by
the police takes away dead bodies, it only decomposes in the wilderness where there is no other npcs
its also one of the details because they don't just disappear
