@@jeffrey.a.hanson Definitely. I feel like many people are overlooking them but in any VST guitar, the attack and release times are the first thing I go to adjust
I am a keyboardist who is around guitars all the time because I play in various rock bands. Now I want to do recordings on Cakewalk and purchase an Ample Guitar. I have no idea which one to buy. It wasnt until now that I realized electric guitars must be different from one another and I just never noticed.
Hi there! i have a question, i'm want to buy in amplesound store, but when i choose the credit card as a payment method, it takes me to the paypal page, there is no way to buy directly from my credit card? At this moment it is no available in my country buying stuff with paypal :( , great videos!
From what I see, when you choose a riff, the vst changes amps and the settings on the amps to match the riff. In the DAW, what tells the vst to change amps and settings to match the riff?
Great video (s) thanks for you time. One thing I cannot figure out how to do with amplesound: My song contains a change of key: It goes from C to C#. Using the strummer grid, I have programmed all my chords in the 1-24 available slots. Now I want my DAW to push up the capo button by one semitone to do this change of key. I could not find a key switch to do that. Have I missed somthing? Thanks
Ample sound need to fix the modulation vibrato when played as a solo lead, hopefully they fixed ASAP and then it would be really authentic vintage electric classic guitar!!!
At 4:31 you are playing a riff and end into a single note. The note hits twice but is not two "picks" or separate notes (hopefully that makes sense). On a real guitar you would basically hit the lower note and bend up to it twice. How do you do that one this plug? Please.
Good video but only for the sound quality of the instrument. There's literally no indication in anything you said to let the viewer know if you're playing a keyboard, a guitar, or using presets for the constructions used in this demo. It's useless as a consumer to know if you need to master keys if you don't know guitar, or master guitar if you're playing a guitar into it, or if you are using presets or midi tracks to get the sounds you're making. Useless for evaluating whether to buy the product or not because there's no ability to match your skillset to the requirements of the plugin. I used to own a 59 Gibson Les Paul custom with the SG body. Looked exactly like that one with the cherry wood body & deep red finish.
Definately won't fool an actual guitarist or someone who records/produces but if you're a home gamer and you're using something like this sat in the background of a mix you'd probably get away with it. If you want something to sound like an actual instrument midi can only get you so far, there's loads of guitar players out there just chuck them £50 and record the actual part.
They said that about drums and bass .. and now some of the stuff they're making I think most musicians would be hard pressed to spot it. It's only a matter of time before they manage to make believable guitar emulators. It's coming. 😁 I agree, .. they're not quite there YET.
@@stephenr2434 Maybe with some of the single note 'leady' passages .. but unless you're coating it with a ton of effects and distortion , strums and chordal things to me still sound fake .. like a harpsichord. It doesn't sound real to me.
Hype: Such a beautiful tone Truth: Obvious virtual instruments, sounds anemic, sterile, lifeless. Some people can just lie straight to your face. The technology is not there yet.
What does it sound too you then? ... I like how the rhythm and riff sound (Authentic to me), not the solos (Sound with a weird modulation the vibrato that need to be fix).
AMPLE SOUND ? Company sucks ! THREE tickets - no response after 3 weeks :-( yes they were very responsive until I purchased.... I bought 6 plugins but,... NO, I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN
Excellent reproduction of a classic instrument. My guitarist in high school had one with a Marshall stack. This sounds amazingly authentic.
Hey man!
glad to see you back on youtube.
Nice review Ruben, glad to see your back. Stay well
Good to see you back uploading content :)

SG, finally... its such an iconic guitar and I have one :)
A great library for sure, the palm mutes have really nice weight to them when you turn the sample start time to 0
The start time and decay features are magic to get the true feel you want. Cool feature that really helps authenticity.

Thanks for this showcase!! Just a question, how do I simulate the keyboard press strength on FLstudio to change the palm muting effect??? 5:08

in the interest of saving money...in reality cant we get close to the same sound with other we already have? like i have the semi hollow
This sounds good
It’s an SG. Nailed it.

The VST does, of course. They are presets.
Can you use other guitar plug in fx and cab sims with this?

My thought would be to automate the capo through the DAW.
Maybe add another instance of the plugin
I'm in = this is gonna be my first buy...................
Hi. Great review. What drums plugin You use?
Superior Drummer 3. :)
I got this great friend today
Check out this demo: ua-cam.com/video/tJ9-Gl41JjE/v-deo.html

They just fixed it.
Wow I like that sound of the guitar
Great for rhythm and riffs, but for solo has a weird modulation sound doing bends and vibrato
I’ve asked amplesound to update their vibrato to a more natural sounding one. They’re working on it.
Play blues solo please
This one has a wonderful reproduction to it
Ahhh this is the video I was talking about. Not Strawberry, Vintage Cherry it was lolol
long time ... hope you are ok.
Doing fine. Thank you. :) I hope you are well.

maybe is the keyboard "aftertouch"
For a VST guitar, its decent, but its still overwhelmingly "synthesized". Works well with chords and best with distorted chords.
超级厉害的吉他,刚出的第一天就入手了!!!!
broooo how did u played those notes on 4:26 ? are you using a midi keyboard or you just draw in piano roll? how exactly did you made that lol
I played it on a keyboard. I’ve been playing guitar on keyboard for years though...
HIFIMIDI You’re am amazing player! Very good on drums using keyboard too!!! Congrats
What is the best DAW for Ample Sound products?
Cubase
For me is Ableton Live but for the rest of the people is whoever DAW you master!
omg it sounds so real....what drums are you using they are amazing too..??
Already answered... Superior drummer 3 (Toontrack)

If you play with the settings, use loads of amp plugins and various effects you can get it sounding pretty good but never as good as the real thing
