Since 2014, Sylvia Rose Novak has released a new record every other year, turning heads at American Songwriter and Billboard with her Americana roots and Outlaw Country sound. But, with her band’s fifth studio album released in 2022, Nashville-based songwriter and bass player showed just how much she’s crossed over into the rock music genre. With influences like Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, and My Chemical Romance, here’s Sylvia Rose Novak channeling her inner emo and pop-punk sensibilities into a few of her latest original tunes from the band’s 2022 LP “A Miss / A Masterpiece”-plus, a new single from her forthcoming album-in this edition of CME Sessions!
