I think we didn’t do enough to improve the o-line in the draft. The major factor will be how good Daniels is. That could make a big difference. Also we will have better coaching. So I think it’s a few more wins than last year. Maybe rank 25th
Kliff is the wildcard here... how well can he call plays and put JD in the best possible position to succeed.
they got anthony lynn and ben johnson I think were gonna see more of a physical running attack type of offense that we mix in spice with kliff kingsbury jayden daniels making dynamic plays to terry and jahan but i doubt we are gonna ask jayden to throw the ball more than 25 times a game

The coaching alone if a huge rise. It will all play out and we will get respect.
You guys keep forgetting these coaches have a completely different scheme than what we are use to seeing in Washington they can take a average player and make them a beast . Quinn got to Dallas the defense was horrible drafted one impact player and they became one of the better defenses stop overreacting I think alot of these players they drafted will have huge contributions and we’ll be way better than last year
I agree, I am one those Commander fans that believe that the RR's roster may not be as bad we think. The coaching staff was as bad as we thought not the player. I feel that we really don't know how good some of the player left from the RR roster can be because the coaching staff was so bad.
This team is better than a 7 win team. I think they are on average a 9 win team. Coaching and a fresh start are worth 3 wins. Still need to find a couple of pieces on defense. We have a good wide receiving corp. We have decent running backs. The offensive line will be improved. Ertz will be an improvement over what we had last year. We will probably switch to a hybrid 3-4 on defense instead of the vanilla 4-3 we were running. This would allow Jonathan Allen to play defensive end and get Johnny Newton on the field. Then you just need a good edge/elephant to play like Charles Haley did and you need a good pass rushing linebacker. The interior linebackers and the secondary are going to have to cover in that 2 deep scheme
A 3-4 with Allen, Payne, Newton on the field at the same time?
The run game is going to be key for this team. Play-action Daniels excels at. That’s when Ertz comes in with finding the soft parts of zone coverage.
that's the 12 personnel and Sinnott is the perfect second TE for that and you need a guy like McCaffrey and Crowder to go across the middle ...defense has to be good to go run heavy on offense
proof will be in the games until then who knows but I would be shocked if we finished 31st

Last year the coaches and players quit on the fans. You can see the difference already. Most of the bad players are gone. I believe in this team . HTTR
Agreed but I truly think the coaching and leadership was so God awful that the players just checked out like hey I mean what are we doing here. Charles Leno interviewed with John keim and he stayed that the team under previous coaching and leadership had no direction they didn't know what direction they were heading in
I think 7 wins would be great if we had the exact same roster, but our roster is massively overturned. I guess it’s hard to say at this point but I’d like to see 8 plus wins at least.

I was really thinking this was Cole Turner’s time once Logan was let go. He may get cut with Ertz and Sinnot here and even John Bates is a better blocker. Sucks because I think the kid can play.

LET THEM TALK ALL THE $#!T THEY WANT...We will prove what we are with our play on the field and our record at the end of the year. I think we are going to be 7-10 on the low end and 10-7 on the high end. ALL I want is for our team not to be that automatic W on opposing teams calendar.....just sayin!!!

I hated are draft. Team in bottom 5 to 10 . The oline is still terrible. 6 wins.
Guys.. The Commanders have zero high impact/game changers.

They have a handful of pretty good players and 3 damn good players. Many of the guys Peters brought in are upgrades over who was here and maybe a guy like Luvu or Chinn breaks into the next tier? Maybe a draft pick surpasses all expectations maybe Jayden Daniels grows an NFL arm and doesn't get obliterated running the ball 3 times on every drive? But that team is definitely bottom 5 on paper for now.
