Hey guys! I haven’t posted here in a while because of the audio. I keep using music that is at least 2 minutes long and it keeps on cutting off on all my videos? Does the sound cut off for you guys too?
oh, i really thought the artist was using some sort of oil-pastel-&-pencil hybrid medium that I'm not familiar with. i was so curious of what was used coz it looked like a pencil but when applied, it almost seemed like it worked like an oil pastel. glad to learn what the technique is and how it's done. thank you for sharing 😊
The technique she used is called Burnishing where you apply pressure when blending. Usually it is applied after laying the base colours. It is also because of the quality paper she uses. Hope this helps😊
Step 1 : put a full skin color base. Step 2 : sketch some shadows with brown Step 3 : be an advanced artist to blend with major skills and techniques !
@@nathanvasquez8580 lmao dont give up, im already able to blend colors that well with that consistent practice, remember practice is the mother of learning. :)
I'm not too advanced in traditional art: so I might've gotten this wrong but I think they used a different pencil then what the artist.was using to draw the skin and shadows. Another possibility is that they just pressed really hard(which is more likely because you see the pencil shavings). He also chose a color in-between the pale yellow and the brown which was the pale pink to blend the two together. By the looks of it he probably used colors such as white and yellow to lessen the brown he used. Honestly it's just a lot of color mix and matching. And once you keep on adding colors eventually the pencils start to layer and become full. (Does that make sense?)
If this is too hard for you to do, I have a really easy technique that produces results that look a lot like it!! You need isopropyl alcohol, q-tips, and paper that can handle getting a little wet without falling apart. I like mixed media paper, the kind that's supposed to be able to handle some watercolor. Don't try it for the first time on a drawing you care about, make a practice sheet blending different colors together with alcohol on a q-tip to see what it does to your colors. Mine usually turn a bit darker and more vibrant by the end, so you'll have to learn to color with pencils lighter than you want your finished product to be.
@@trash2765 They are totally different shows and genres. Stop comparing apples to oranges. AOT is good for over the top philosophy , action and drama that barely touches our life or reality but it’s suspenseful and keeps you on your edge. Spy X Family is a comedy with just a touch of action and mystery with a very touching messages and wholesome themes that touches our reality and even makes remember what you should cherish in life and much more.
@@trash2765 Yeah, to each their own. Spy x Family is still in the very beginning. There are so many mysteries and more depth to this than the first season will show.
So essentially you start off with a base colour, and slowly build up from a dark shade to a lighter shade and blend (after applying all colours if I’m not wrong) with the same base colour. Or you can blend when you’re building up with the colours.

This technique is called burnishing. It requires sharp pencils and a light touch. The layering is what makes it smooth and silky
