Our production crew will be making one last trip to the CP C&M Subdivision and after that, we will be back on other lines such as the BNSF Racetrack with the addition of visiting three new places if all go according to plan later this month. While filming out trackside at Lake Forest, our day started a bit rough with our camera dying at the worst possible times while filming. But we were able to get it solved and the show went on. We also met up with our Metra friend, Jeff Meehan who was at the controls of Metra train numbers 2118, 2136, and 2125. There were a good handful of candidates for Highlight of the Day. But it was quite a treat when it happened later in the day towards the mid-afternoon. Overall, another solid day out trackside. Next week, we will be returning to LaGrange, IL on the BNSF Chicago Subdivision. Then after that week begins an exciting week as we visit new locations while revisiting locations that have treated us well in the past. It’s crazy to see how much Lake forest has grown. I remember 7 years ago when I used to be crazy about the metra train since we had a house right next to the station. One day I’m going to come back
Great video. I liked the fact that you caught the Metra 405 Milwaukee Road Heritage unit a number of times. That last sequence with the 405 was great.

Unfortunately, we won't be returning to Lake Forest for a little while. If you look at the top on the home page of our UA-cam channel, look for the community tab.
