Reminiscent of last year, here. When by mid july the only thing surviving was the field corn. Even watering twice a day... no way to keep up wicked heat like that. Thanks for the walk about 😘
I put up shade cloth this year and its made a big difference. I’m still getting tomatoes peppers and cucumbers. We pulled the onions a few weeks ago. My second batch of potatoes seem to be doing okay. My first round of squash and zucchini are almost done. I’m starting more in another part of the yard along with more cucumbers. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with deer and fn chicken eating your plants. You so right it way too hot. We get out at 5am and late in the day to do anything. Please be careful out there.
