I went to this site because I heard it was a historical site for Nagas. I thought that the people present there will have the knowledge of stone and excavated site but to be honest they people who took us there had very little knowledge about the site . So I had to cut most of the part of what they said .
Before I went there I did check on Google and it was different from what i saw in Google. So the video may seem incomplete but please forgive me for that .

I as a Christian, the origination of Ao tribe from the stone can not be accepted logically at this age since the human was created in the image of God according to the Bible and hence it's high time to start researching the very story so that reality is reviled/blessed from the Almighty.

Thanks for visiting my old village... According to oral history Ao ( three clans - Tongpok ( pongen), longpok (longkumer) and longjakrep ( jamir) originated from these six stones . But this is not confined to Ao alone but also to the surrounding tribes such as Sangtam, Chang and Phoms. It is said that earlier all these people were living together in one village but later on they went to different places ( which they are settled now) and for the Aos, the went to Ungma village side from this village after crossing Dikhu river through a Cane bridge so they were called by the tribe name Ao. But this source is widely accepted by the Aos alone... And actually the villagers have good knowledge of this histroical place. They know more than what we will find in google but I guess they didnt explain u in detail... thanks for visiting once again 👍

Nagas in general did not have any written record, only source was oral. So our origin and migration still is a myth and one cannot fully assume the fact that we originated from a particular place. Be it Khezhakenoma or Longtrok, only way is to preserve such sites. Besides Neolithic finding in Chungliyimiti also suggest certain affinities with Neolithic culture. Who knows such stones at Longtrok may also be some kind of megalithic practice. Further excavation may reveal such myth. But yes, myths do have social, political, cultural and economic importance. As such they indicate certain things for sure.

Seems like our ancestors were more civilized and they were expertise in carving etc(why not, look at our attire, ornaments etc)
So, maybe they carved real life statues of the real person, and the interpretation got messed up!! Failing to recognize the person of the statue and confused with the oral that they came out of stones instead!
Just my thoughts! Because we know stones can't give birth to humans.

How about muslim? They still doesn't halal, that doesn't mean they are uncivilized, it's a practice , culture,

Historic place and village but it seems Nagaland Govt. Neglects this village. Road seems to be in bad shape. Who is the MLA?

Long trok in Ao means six stones...... And chungliyimti is a very typical Ao name, but i always wonder why it is in a different tribe's district. Always wondering ..

It's not a mystery actually Aos used to inhibited the place.they gave the village name as chungliyimti but as the population grew our ancestors decided to leave the place and go somewhere where it can support the population
