I think i did a great mistake by saying that Mt. Pauna was the second highest peak in Nagaland i am sorry about that i didnt think or research much beacuse i was more into exploring the hidded magical forest of Mt .pauna sorry for saying Rib as well although i know that it was Indian reserve battalion it was mistake on my part . thanks to all those who corrected me . It was such a wonderful experience visiting Mt .pauna although the climbing was tough but it's worth it.

That wild flower is called Rhododendron. The best season to visit is during the autumn and winter. You will have the most ecstatic views during those seasons. During a clear sky dawn one can enjoy view of Dimapur valleys, Manipur ranges, Peren District valleys and hills, Dzuku ranges and even of Mt. Japfu.

Those stone gate at the sides you see is where the people anounces and alert people when their is an attack from the neighbouring villages . And also the marks in the stones is where the king jumps from the sides . And touches . Hope your aware of those things
We were told by our grandparents that if we take anything from that mountain we wont be able to find our way back home. We will always return back at the same spot where we picked up anything. If you find anything beautiful you have to do a proper spell to take it home.

This villager has the highest officers n the most advance among the Zeliangrong tribe. Even the first Naga IPS, IFS N first Naga ambassador were hail from this Village.
The view of Mt.Pauna from afar is the shape of a lady sleeping. The top most view point is her chin. The villagers are settled in her thighs. Come and check that far view from Peren Town or Peren Village. It's really amazing.
