Nah, the Hori one is nice to look at but a bad design. Putting the buttons in a spot where you have to reach over something was dumb. It should have been a separate box from the ahifter itself.

Tip if you haven't noticed: For flashing someone like in 0:15 there's a non-toggle button that can be bound that acts just like a real car. The option is called "Light Horn" and basically flashes high beams for as long as you hold the stalk.

Looks like you are not familiar with the Eaton transmission, you don't need the clutch to change gears while driving, you can float the gears, it's different to the European truck transmissions
@Turbo1602ti I actually tried a bass shaker under my shifter at one point, but it didn’t help much. You’d only get a tiny bit of feedback for a split second when shifting. I guess replicating that gear grinding feel isn’t easy with bass shakers alone. Fingers crossed that we get a shifter with true FFB one day! 🤞
@@ProjectSimRacing I'm currently using a Thrustmaster shifter for ats but I also have a SRT v9 gearbox, which can be modded to block gears and rumble, but haven't done that yet

@DragosStefanache nothing like that. It's the only way the screw holes one the Stalks align with my base😉 As you know, I don't really do reviews on my channel. I let the pros like @boostedmedia do that. But all I can say is that's it's 💯 woth every single penny! Disclaimer: it won't make you any faster 😝🤣 And the only thing I'm missing right now is for SCS to implement all the functions in-game. Other then that everything feels perfect tbh😊
I would love to do that too, but I do a lot of racing videos on this rig, and I can't change it right now.. But I plan on building a dedicated rig for truck sims😉
@@ProjectSimRacing thanks for the reply! Moza do sell an adjustable mount specifically for this set up. You could then easily switch between racing and trucking. (Until you build a dedicated set up!)
@RemnantsOfBeauty Thanks for the suggestion! But unfortunately, the Moza mount isn't quite sturdy enough to handle the high FFB I run on my wheelbase. I can’t stand even the slightest movement on the wheelbase! So I’ll have to hold off for now, but I definitely appreciate the feedback 🙌

got my TSW bundle and stalks being shipped now is that sim dashboard with so many different tablets id love something like that i have 3 triple 32in monitors so im not far off i just think them dashboards had more real immersion
Nice mate! I use this tablet amzn.to/3XY8mwV for my dash and an app called SimHub, if you want to look it up. It does add a lot to the setup and you don't have to use that specific tablet. You can use any old phone/tablet that you may have laying around 😉

Appreciate it 🙌 I used two of these Asus ROG Bazel Free Kit amzn.to/46Rs0MK They only work with screens up to 32", but if you get two of them, you can drill a small hole in each one and use fishing line to hold them together. There are other ways of doing that too, but just don't use glue😉

Thinking of Moza R21 with CRP pedals. You think R21 is overkill? Im planning to maximaze the FFB in Moza Pit House and lower it in games like 10 Nms. Some people say it is overkill and some say its amazing. And the pedals, Im kind of an hybrid player like you. Sometimes I wanna push the limits and sometimes I just wanna get a chill cruise. How does it feel to drive with Loadcell pedals in games like ETS 2? Is it exhausting? Thanks!
Thanks so much for following along, mate! 🙌 I’d say the R21 might be a bit overkill-I’ve got a 15Nm Fanatec base and rarely go above 50% FFB, except in truck sims where I crank it up to 100%. As for loadcell pedals, no worries there! They’re great even for a relaxed cruise in ETS2👍

If i understand right for the auto canceling to work you have to install a extra piece on the shaft of the wheel base, right? How does this work with a fanatec wheel base? I was scared this will only work with moza wheel bases

Nice mate! 😁 I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings. Just make sure to turn the steering angle to 1800 degrees in Fanalab😉

The game supports the functions, but they are hidden in the controls.sii file. The indicators can be manually assigned so that when the lever returns to the center they are canceled
@@ProjectSimRacing For the indicators you have to find and edit the line Lblinkerh and Rblinkerh. The easiest thing is to copy the keys assigned in the game, which are in the Lbkinker and Rblinker line and then unassign them within the game so that they do not interfere with the ones edited in the file. Also you need to uncheck the automatic cancel indicators in the game

You should get the moza adaptor that makes the steering wheel more flat to get it more truck like

I’m pretty sure you need Moza Pit, but it’s mainly for the drivers, not for any settings on the stalks themselves.

Looks like you are not familiar with the Eaton transmission, you don't need the clutch to change gears while driving, you can float the gears, it's different to the European truck transmissions
I know mate, but I find that very hard to do since we don't have any ffb in the gearbox. So I prefer to just use the clutch 😉

@Turbo1602ti I actually tried a bass shaker under my shifter at one point, but it didn’t help much. You’d only get a tiny bit of feedback for a split second when shifting. I guess replicating that gear grinding feel isn’t easy with bass shakers alone. Fingers crossed that we get a shifter with true FFB one day! 🤞

@DragosStefanache nothing like that. It's the only way the screw holes one the Stalks align with my base😉

And the only thing I'm missing right now is for SCS to implement all the functions in-game. Other then that everything feels perfect tbh😊

Have you experimented with the angle of the wheel? For me it's too upright, I'd prefer it tilted back more.. but each to their own.
I would love to do that too, but I do a lot of racing videos on this rig, and I can't change it right now.. But I plan on building a dedicated rig for truck sims😉
@@ProjectSimRacing thanks for the reply! Moza do sell an adjustable mount specifically for this set up. You could then easily switch between racing and trucking. (Until you build a dedicated set up!)
@RemnantsOfBeauty Thanks for the suggestion! But unfortunately, the Moza mount isn't quite sturdy enough to handle the high FFB I run on my wheelbase. I can’t stand even the slightest movement on the wheelbase! So I’ll have to hold off for now, but I definitely appreciate the feedback 🙌

got my TSW bundle and stalks being shipped now is that sim dashboard with so many different tablets id love something like that i have 3 triple 32in monitors so im not far off i just think them dashboards had more real immersion
Nice mate! I use this tablet amzn.to/3XY8mwV for my dash and an app called SimHub, if you want to look it up. It does add a lot to the setup and you don't have to use that specific tablet. You can use any old phone/tablet that you may have laying around 😉

They only work with screens up to 32", but if you get two of them, you can drill a small hole in each one and use fishing line to hold them together. There are other ways of doing that too, but just don't use glue😉

Im planning to set up a simulator. Thinking of Moza R21 with CRP pedals. You think R21 is overkill? Im planning to maximaze the FFB in Moza Pit House and lower it in games like 10 Nms. Some people say it is overkill and some say its amazing.
And the pedals, Im kind of an hybrid player like you. Sometimes I wanna push the limits and sometimes I just wanna get a chill cruise. How does it feel to drive with Loadcell pedals in games like ETS 2? Is it exhausting? Thanks!
Thanks so much for following along, mate! 🙌 I’d say the R21 might be a bit overkill-I’ve got a 15Nm Fanatec base and rarely go above 50% FFB, except in truck sims where I crank it up to 100%. As for loadcell pedals, no worries there! They’re great even for a relaxed cruise in ETS2👍

If i understand right for the auto canceling to work you have to install a extra piece on the shaft of the wheel base, right? How does this work with a fanatec wheel base? I was scared this will only work with moza wheel bases
You are exactly right. Moza did actually think about that, and they did send an extra piece of metal with 3M tape 😉

@3ugglor579 I think it should work since the quick release adapter (that's included) adds a bit of distance, which should help prevent any interference 😉

I actually use Fanalabs recommended settings for DiRT Rally 2.0 and default in-game settings. Just make sure to turn the steering angle to 1800 degrees in Fanalab😉

The game supports the functions, but they are hidden in the controls.sii file. The indicators can be manually assigned so that when the lever returns to the center they are canceled
I did try to edit the controls.sii file, but didn't manage to get it working. I'm sure it's because I've done something wrong though 😄
@@ProjectSimRacing For the indicators you have to find and edit the line Lblinkerh and Rblinkerh. The easiest thing is to copy the keys assigned in the game, which are in the Lbkinker and Rblinker line and then unassign them within the game so that they do not interfere with the ones edited in the file. Also you need to uncheck the automatic cancel indicators in the game

I actually have those settings in the video (at the end). And you have to use the auto-cancel option in the settings. At least until SCS fixes that😉
