- I was very disappointed with the way The Extreme Ghostbusters The Complete Series was released. It truly is up to you if you want the set I do understand if people still want to get this set and wanting to own the set there are about 15 to 20 episodes like that on disc 1 & disc 2 and probably disc 3 this review and angry rant is from my own opinion on owning this DVD set and now many others have posted they're own reviews on Amazon the DVD set is very bad make your own choice. I hope you guys enjoyed this short video let me know your thoughts on what do you think about the Extreme Ghostbusters The Complete Series DVD set and as always Thank you for watching.

I tried to watch these DVDs and they hurt my eyes so bad, that I just went back to watching my Hulu rips.
Same here one of the worst official releases we got horrible.

Maybe it would've been better if they just release as an actual DVD instead of this DVD are this because only one studio does that.
Looks like I will be sticking with my bootleg blu ray shame on you Sony for this poor release

Love your video. Can you tell us what episodes are blurry or maybe show what you mean in a follow-up video? I got mine in the mail but left for a trip right after so haven’t looked at the eps.
Thank you I showed it in the unboxing video it's hard to notice on camera I believe it's starts from disc 1 disc 2 and 3 disc not sure about disc 4 because in the unboxing video I went to disc 5 and the episodes seems fine with no shakiness also if you head to amazon's website many people have stated the exact same thing as I said in the video the real truth is it's up to you if you want the dvd set since one else had a video showing the episodes and menus I figured I would show it so people don't end up disappointed with a dvd boxset that cost $40.00 even people who pre ordered it for $20.00 it should be worth only $10.00 in my opinion i have to check the entire set fully and check all the discs to be complete accurate I will check discs I've been working on other videos.

I had to return mine, hated the quality of this, it was hurting my eyes trying to watch it.
you are not the only one I thought I needed 3D glasses this set was horrible I was so hyped for this DVD set.
i own this and i didn't have any issues with my copy. it sounds like the same issue that the 2003 TMNT DVD set has.
I never heard anyone saying they have no issues with this set all those sets were pressed the exact same way many people even people who replied to me on my channel and amazon have said the same thing. you probably got lucky with that set but I doubt it either way the bootlegs are far more superior then that garbage.
I got this set and Im happy with this set but….it sucked that it has no bonus features.
As long as your happy to ke this set is horrible 15 episodes look like crap I agree there should have been bonus features.
@@MADFLIXandGames to be fair I havent seen more than whats on Disc 1 and 2. And overall the set is a disappointment when you compare it to the Time Life Real Ghostbusters set from 2008. But when that went out of print Sony threw together a bare boned set for RGB that excluded over a dozen episodes. Thats why the Time Life set goes for lots of money on ebay; etc because it literally has everything and then some.
They shouldve put more effort for Extreme GB and for the 40 dollar price tag it isnt worth it. When they uploaded the episodes to youtube I downloaded them all so at least I have that. I dont feel as bad because I got in while it was 20 dollars and used a gift card so it was even cheaper.
@@bombarde1701a definitely the time life set was really awesome which I have and own the problem is whenever anything goes out of print they sky rocket the price like $800.00 which is ridiculous they made 2 sets of the time life one was thw steel book dvd cases and then they had the plastic dvd case I didn't get the extreme ghostbusters for $20.00 I got it regular price but the set is on it's way back to Amazon I can't keep anything that was released horribly and that is a very bad set this is why I was comparing the 1st episode to the boot leg and the official UK release.

This is so lame to hear, I wanted this for my collection.
Very lame I returned it I was thinking of staying with it but then I saw how many episodes were really bad I said hell no got back my money.
Man!!!!!!!!!!! You're so right. That DVD set of Extreme Ghostbusters looks like crap. Also I discovered that Beverly Hills Teens Volume Two the 3-disc DVD set released by Cookie Jar/DHX Media which is missing from my DVD collection is being sold for $250.00 on eBay. Nuts? Right?
