    Thanks for your instructional video, especially about the control panel behind the door, also your explanation of the multi functioning shelves - pity there were no written instructions with the actual freezer!

    I'll watch this tonight... Your videos are so calming. Please do ASMR I could just imagine you doing a video as a second hand shop or antiques owner, dressed in period dress and just showing different items in your calm soothing manner.

    After 13 months, the fan was hitting the ice, because the defrost circuit fails. Hotpoint wanted money from me, so I bought a samsung that comes with 5 years warranty with no extra cost. Hotpoint give extra warranty at extre cost.

    Hi. Does the freezer have any internal lights so you can see contents mire easily?

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  3 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately the freezers don't normally have lights in. Would make sense if they did but it is mainly fridges that have lights and not freezers

    So I have a white one of these and after 18months it’s started making a noise and ice and frost began to appear at the top where the fan is! Also that stopped the freezer from being able to freeze correctly leading to the entire freezer defrosting while we were away!

    Should the profreeze button be always on? on my freezer on this model it's always on.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Рік тому

      It wouldn't normally always be on, it is normally designed as a fast freeze option, so once it is down to temperature, it can be switched off.

    I just bought one of these today. I'm a little concerned about the frosting issue that others have mentioned. Do you have any advice to avoid this?
    Thanks for the video - great to be able to see what I've bought in more detail.

      We have sold quite a few of these models and haven't had anyone comment on it frosting up. The main thing i would do is to turn the setting down a bit first and see how you get on.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, it could be the door seal that is not sealing properly. I would recommend getting a damp warm cloth and wiping round the door seal to make sure it is flexible and clean.
      Hopefully this should sort out the frost in the freezer for you

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  4 роки тому +1

      Yes you should be able to defrost it. You will either need to take the food out or try and use some of the food up first. The best thing is to turn the freezer off to defrost and don't be tempted to scrape it with a screwdriver as it can puncture the side of the freezer if it slips.
