As far as nitrous guys. They don't make the hp to run 216+mph. That's all top end power that turbo cars are known for. Where nitrous and blower cars are known for power down low. Obviously not as much for the centrifugal guys but the nitrous cars are lighter and quicker usually in the first 100ft or so and it helps balance the class. If all the cars weighed the same nitrous guys would be in trouble. Rules are what make these classes and others so competitive and have for decades now. Don't need to run 216mph if your quicker off the hit.
By the way It was 2 Procharger cars in the finals and won only going 207mph. Bottom line is doesn't matter what combination you pick. You can win with any of them. Burders in x275 have proven that multiple times winning championships and holding records with turbo, centrifugal and positive displacement blowers. It's not so much what you pick. It's more about who and what you know.
