I absolutely love your videos. You have given me a lot of great ideas. I tried number 2 and I would like to let people know that this project isn’t as cheap and easy as it looks in the video.
Anybody wanting to try #2, here are a few things to think about.
1. Make sure you’re purchasing remote control fairy lights. I used the link shared here, but didn’t pay attention and received battery operated lights without remote. Useless!
2. You will need 2 bags of clear gems to complete the design shown in the video which will run you close to $25 total.
3. If I was going to ever try this again, I would buy a can of metallic gold spray paint and replace that for the gold tape. Spray paint is only a couple more dollars than the gold tape.
Those are my thoughts.
