It's odd just how much harder this guy is than the rest of the bosses; How much more complicated his fight is. It's this multi-stage ordeal where you chase him through a long hallway, smashing through the projectiles he throws and dodging his laser beams. Then you kick him through a window, and he starts busting out yet more moves. Compare this to most of the bosses, who're very simple in their patterns, and are easily cheesed. I guess they really wanted to show some respect to the Redeemer, eh?
The second part of the fight is nothing like the first. The first is all about timing and rhythm, not letting yourself get impatient because nomatter what you do he is always going to keep firin his shoopdawoop. The second part is where he takes off the gloves, you have to keep reading him to see what he's going to do before you can act. I mean, most of the time it's just the ol' straight jump flip, but if he tricks you and hits you with one of his three energy moves, you're gunna feel it.
@@oldencreek6587 I see. How do you think Spawn compares to Ninja Gaiden, out of curiosity? I made a No Death Walkthrough for beginners for the NES trilogy... You think this game'd make for a good walkthrough, too?
Always loved Redeemer. He was basically the "light" version of Spawn.
Also known as Anti-Spawn.
ooouuhh!! (spawn sound)
Uuuuuuoooorr!! (redeemer sound)
I'm guessing the reason people had trouble with this games was cuz they didn't know how to use his powers. Once you learned, the game was cake!
yeah but then you have to be careful not to run out of his powers
I loved how the old days the music boss battles were like the bosses you actually fought.
I always imagined this being the continue screen theme.... so dark and unnerving.....
It's kind of hard not to when you're always dying to the Redeemer.
the theme song of many, many spirits of 90s kids broken by Redeemer's insane difficulty.
Insane difficulty; just jump and hold A so he won't fall in the beam then kick, repeat hahahaha
One word, Hard
The whole game was hard.
*UOAH!*
this music sound great but sounds even better with the soundeffect
IIUUOOOAAHHH!!!
Redeemer that SOB!!

Makes sense. Redeemer in the comics was VERY powerful, smacking Spawn up something good in almost every fight.
