- Tephrocactus cacti have a very unique form. But they are so fragile that repotting this type of cactus is always a struggle. Special thanks to The Next Gardener for sending me everything that I need to repot my Tephrocactus cacti into their (hopefully) permanent pots.

You know ana you should try to get yourself a good sized greenhouse. Saves lots of space time and work. It may be hot where you live but the plants wouldn't mind the heat at al if you use a shadecloth. Ive seen many people in California use greenhouses the temps can go as high as 140 and the plants love it! This is because in the desert the ground can get up to 120+ F which most cacti and succulents love. It also gives you a much better controlled environment this is why many large collectors use them. I think one day you'd get a greenhouse as you have thousands of plants. Also helps if you want to grow rare and hard to grow/find species. You can also have a large plant collection!
The new pots make your cactus look very nice. Your Tephrocactus are growing big.
Great repotting! 👏👍🌵💚🏜️
FANTASTIC video Ana :-D and your Tephrocacti are BEAUTIFUL, and you were brave to repot these Tephro haha, I really LOVE Tephros and their unique and special shapes, I have a few Tephrocacti desperate to be re potted that I keep putting off repotting as their segments and glochids stick to me just by looking at them lol! and your Astrophytum is a STUNNER too, you have repotted them all so beautifully, and your new pots from 'The Next Gardener' are so gorgeous, thanks so much for sharing the awesome repottings with us, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and CACTUS POWER to Las Vegas for a super Sunday ahead XXXX <3
Pretty awesome tephrocactus you have there!
Beautiful pots. Now you have more cacti to plant!
Repotting your cactus very very awesome have a blessed day lovely collection
Hope they can grow well after repotting. Thanks for sharing our items. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Very beautiful. Your optimism is just great!!! And well done!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Job Anna! This was a tough one but all in all, they look fantastic! 🤩
Super beautifull😍🥰
Thanks Anna for sharing those difficult ones to repot. I do have the 2 specimens in my collection and the paper spine ones keep falling apart on me such miserable plants to deal with.
Hey Ana, did you know you appeared in the top 20 of all the gardening channels on UA-cam? There was a video on it on this platform. Congrats!
I struggle so hard with growing these tall. My current limit is a tower of 5 segments max, cause then either the wind or my handling, watering or repotting them knocks the top segments off. Still, gorgeous plants and so fun to watch them take shape as they grow!
I have those same white and green pots. I think they're so cute. I don't have any Tephrocactus yet but they are on my list.
Excellent video, Ana 😊 Tephrocactus certainly aren’t the easiest to repot haha, but you didn’t lose as many segments as I thought you would. The one you sent me has done extremely well, grown 3 or 4 new segments on it. Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜☕️
You did it👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great job! I was so nervous!
Tephrocactus cacti are definitely sensitive but they are gorgeous !!!!
Hi Ana I love to watch your video 😊
