Welcome to the Quogue Library's Osprey Watch 2024: April 6 - May 16

The QL is excited to share this rare footage from a camera placed on top of an Osprey Nest located on the Saxon Ave Peninsula in Bay Shore, LI.
The footage begins in April as the Ospreys choose the nest , followed by their laying of two eggs May 1st and May 3rd respectively and then with chics hatching June 7th and June 9th continuing through right up to the present with chics hopefully expected to take their first flights 55 days after hatching (end of July). Anyway pics are worth a thousand words so let's watch the video to see the Osprey's in action!
