SKI FOR SCOTTY - Through the eyes of Hannah Epsteyn

On February 13th, 2022, the day before Nordica athlete Lucy Sackbauer was meant to ski and film with Palisades Tahoe local Hannah Epsteyn, we got the news that one of Hannah's good friends, Scotty Lapp, had passed in a skiing accident that day.
We were set to cancel filming, but quickly received a call from Hannah's father saying that she wanted to try to ski and see how she felt on the mountain....
The next day Hannah worked her way through the emotions, with a veteran and Mentor by her side, and they did it the best way they knew how....by skiing. It's what Scotty would've wanted.
So here's a quick look, through Hannah's eyes, at the past 365 days and the legacy left behind by a young man named Scotty Lapp.
***Today, MONDAY February 13th, 2023, is #SkiForScotty day....so grab a friend, head to the mountain, and make a few turns in honor of Scotty Lapp....and everyone else that has left us too soon.
