Definitely made that Land Rover better! Trouble is the more you look the more you find, and the more you find the more you look. Before you know it you've decided on a rebuild. Seven years later life has taken over and you're selling an unfinished project on eBay. I've done mine as a rolling restoration. Problem is you definitely never finish it then! Graham
Fill the doors with wax oil , A/ Stops the Alloy & steel forming a powder type rust forming on outside of doors &&& helps with sound deadening . My doors are still original from 1998 -Except rear door crunched by a tree !
An archaeological moment, discovering the remnants of washers and probably wise electing that in some areas it was better not to know what lies beneath....
This has been a great series of videos. I may have to replace mine. My B post is bent toward the rear of the car. I’m trying to work out if I can straighten it on the car. Keep up the great work Wil.
my advise would be get the body off and sort your issues from the ground up as you know a tidy chassis means a good landy then you can prep all the rough stuff too just my opinion as this is what i have done with mine
Great video Will. I admire your tenacity and honesty!
Thanks Gareth

Thanks Chazni. You probably could bend it. They're steel after all and it's more forgiving than aluminium
water tight lol
ironic right? 😂
This is exactly why I never quote on a chassis change until I have at least 2 hours inspecting the car first. Bad Things lurk in strange places
How did you solve the C Post to seat box alignment problem? Same issue with my 300Tdi 1996.
great vid, did you find a nut a bolt kit for this job ?
Your Landy won’t break with a spring tine rake

This all started a long video ago.... Basically I can't do a rebuild right now!
@@lrworkshop I get ya I am in the middle of a new build oh the joys
Great video as always. Are you driving with different tires?
Yes, but the same size and the same on each side of the axle
